Food portions good, tasty and reasonably priced. Sat inside with a water view...the wine could have been better...
Had a nice group dinner event. Nice staff good food
Food, service, place, price awesome
Poor cooking. It was the worst Baked Stuffed Shrimp I ever ate. The stuffing was some cheap breading.Your Windows were filthy and spoiled the view. I use to love coming here but will never return
Our food was very good. One person in our group had a pizza with gluten-free crust (clams casino). It was extremely pleased with the taste. It was wonderful to be able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. I do think this is the best Vito's restaurant of them all.
The food was delicious excellent and the waitress named Allison was outstanding! We loved the view and the manager even came by to introduce himself and make sure we were satisfied or needed anything. We were very happy we chose this restaurant for our friends gathering.. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Dinner at Vito's on the Water was a happy surprise. The wait staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, and our antipasto was the perfect start to the meal. From the chicken to the scallops, everything was well-prepared and delicious, and the lemon tiramisu was a light and citrus-y take on the classic. The view of the fountain from our table was a plus.
Previously, we have had great experiences at this place: food, service, ambiance were all great. On this visit, though, they were short-staffed. There was no one at the front to greet us and show us to our table, so we were just standing there for 3-4 minutes. One section of the restaurant was closed off because the AC wasn't working. The oysters and salads were great. The salmon entree, which my husband and I both had, was very salty, though. As mentioned, they were short-staffed, and we had to wait a while for everything. I didn't use the ladies' room, but my husband said the faucets were leaking and there were no paper towels in the men's room. Hopefully, this was just an off night and we will have a better experience when we go back.

Service was slow, ate here twice in two days. Food was average, at best. Nice location, overlooking a pond. That is the best attribute.

Out server Ally was awesome and very attentive. However the kitchen was extremely slow for two pasta dishes. The food was just ok and not worth price. 2 adults 1 child one bottle of wine with tip $150. There are other dining options at the same price point that offer far better food and atmosphere. It is doubtful we will be back
Chose this restaurant for their “dine out for 2” menu online and typed that it was our anniversary. When we arrived and sat down the place was very busy. Two parties and we were sat in some side room. When I inquired about the price fix menu the server told me that they don't have that anymore and she was glad since there's a new partner and he is eliminating it. She also told us the kitchen was very busy and could not accommodate anything other than menu items. I asked for the manager since that was one of the reasons we chose Vito's and she was very reluctant to call him over. Finally Chris the new partner came over and was nice enough to extend the offer to us. My wife asked our server if we could have eggplant instead of chicken and she had a very snotty response. When the food came out my wife burnt her tongue in the extremely boiling hot sauce that the pasta was in. We could not eat together since her dish was way too hot. We informed Chris who apologized and did not return for the rest of our meal. Our server said we should have told her it was too hot....why so she could blow on it? Overall, bland food, misleading menu online, poor attitude by waitstaff. When we were leaving, the table behind us was waiting 10-15 mins for a beer since they were changing the tap and were clearly not happy. Plenty of other Italian choices in the area. When we left the server said hope to see you soon. No “happy anniversary” Highly doubt it, won't be back. Best of luck to the new partner.
We are regulars to Vito's and this time were not as happy with our experience. When we got there we were put into a side room with only tables when we had requested a booth on open table as the rest of the entire restaurant was closed to two large parties. When the woman called me to confirm I should have been notified of that. Two of the larger booths were taken out due to recent renovations it appeared. My husband's entrée the lobster ravioli was cold when it came to the table. We love Vito's and will definitely give it another chance.
We caught them on a bad night(Sunday) . Bad service lack of items on menu. It would have been better if they told us there was not staffed and ran out food and that they could not service us instead. I've been there before and had a better experience.
I started by devouring the bread bowl, which is not something I usually do, but the homemade bread was too good to resist, especially with the tomato ragu dipping sauce that came with it. I had a chopped salad, which had lots of fresh vegetables and a delicious homemade dressing. I got the shrimp and grits as a main course, which had several at least 6 large shrimp, a creamy/ cheesy polenta topped with fresh spinach and a tomato sauce. The whole dish was melt in your mouth good. They have an extensive wine list, and I was too stuffed for dessert. I will definitely be back. The service was excellent, but if I had one tiny complaint, it was that the waitress and management checked in on me at least 5 times during my meal. Great service, and I don't think they were trying to turn the table, but they need to let the diner breathe just a bit.
