Dad's has great food for breakfast or lunch at good prices. The staff is wonderful, making you feel like you're going to your sister's house for a meal. My wife and I drive 25 minutes to get there every Saturday. You won't go wrong eating at Dad's Diner. It's well worth the trip.

I found myself at this diner while traveling in Connecticut from Florida. Absolutely amazing food, the wait staff were friendly and helpful, rearranging things to accommodate our large group. I would absolutely eat here again. Hands down one excellent little hidden gem in Connecticut.

Nice staff, great muffins, eggs need some seasoning, but salt fixed that. Dad's is worth a visit or two.

Vegetarian options: Veggie omelette and some other things. Not much vegan.
