My aunt and I with my three year old daughter came in. There was maybe two to three other tables there. It seemed slow so we figured it would be a perfect in and out. We sat down ordered, I told the waitress I have a dairy allergy and I asked if the plate had any in it she said it shouldn’t. I made it VERY clear to her I have an allergy to dairy, I know sometimes some places use butter to cook certain things. So she said okay butter allergy. I was a tad confused. We about 30 mins in and asked if it was coming out soon, the waitress shot so much attitude to my aunt, and got snippy with us telling us the restaurant was very busy and the kitchen is hot and slammed. Again there was two to three other tables. She continued to say oh well door dash is why. Im sorry but people in your establishment should come first. By the time 45 to 50 mins went by we asked for it to go because we were hungry and my child was getting anxious. Again we figured it would be quick because they did not look busy. We were given the bill (she dropped the check off pretty nasty like as well) and still no food.
(The waitress was also throwing back handed comments at another table towards us.) An hour in we got our food to go.
And today I am sick as a dog. I had nothing else to eat yesterday to be dead honest.
Mind you when I got home and saw my “meal” it was a mess, salsa leaking all over. And for the price and how much food I got I was not pleased.
Plus I am sick.
I am very disappointed on my second experience here.
First time was amazing. But this was not acceptable.

Horrible and disrespectful staff just because you are hosting an event does not give you the right to behave the way you want Mr Mark was nasty nasty he should not be working there I was blocked in by his customers who didn’t care about anything swearing at people and I hope no one goes there cause if this is the way you talk to people then you don’t deserve to be open next time you host an event make sure your customers don’t block people in and park where they want you share a parking lot with other business keep that in mind

I normally never leave reviews and this one is rather prolonged, but here goes. I used to go to Johny Bs for a late night, lite beer or two. Unoften I would go and have a marg or a cosmo Well went with my ex last memorial day and I can confidently say I won't be returning. The service is fine for the most part, but I asked for the marg special which was 12$ I believe. So when I asked for Casamigos, (which is mid-tier tequila btw) I was dumbfounded that I was charged an extra, 7 WHOLE dollars for really not a very good margarita!.. Had I'd known they were planning on tacking on such an absurd upcharge, I would've ordered/much rather preferred something cheaper.. I've previously come out of 5-6 years serving experience and I have NEVER seen so much upcharge for ONE* drink. Holiday or not. I have never seen an additional charge that high statewide or for any drink anywhere for that matter. This is not NYC or L.A. This is measley Wolcott, CT of all places.. Honestly, it's embarrassing. I've never had a bar try to tell me that Casa is more than a 2-3$ upcharge at most**. I coulda bought a whole beer with 7$. It's pretty gross.

Johnny B's is do damn good. The first time I went here, I was ready to come back before I even finished my dinner. The service is excellent and the food is always great. I've been here on weekends and week days and the service is always on point. Walk in, sit yourself down and a few minutes later your order is being taken. The attentiveness is so appreciated. The house margarhita is my go to, it's so good. Pair it with some fried pickles and you can't go wrong. Seriously, give this place some love and get over there.
The waitress was excellent (thank you again, Melissa) the food was terrible. My boyfriend and I both woke up with food poisoning. We sent back the calamari we order because it was literally fried crumbs. The lobster stuffed mushrooms were drenched in butter and SITTING in a dish of butter. Never going back!

Food had no flavor very bland stuff lobster mushrooms were very soggy and stuffing was bland and wet. Stuff shrimp had shells still on them and shrimp and stuffing bland,Rib steak was like eating a piece of fat and very Chewy. Vegetables were hard.Best part of the meal was the potatoes. For the price Big disappointment so I would not recommend this place.

Got takeout here and it was a smooth process...went to bar and was met by friendly staff who were quick to get my food and get me processed. First time in the place and I noticed it was packed with people and had a good ambiance. Will definitely be patronizing again!
