The donuts are amazing! If you need a dozen I always call to reserve. Sometimes they sell out, especially the chocolate frosted. Have had breakfast which was very good. They are no longer open for dinner.

I go to Dottie's weekly with a visually impaired person and the food is always great. Prices are abit higher than other places but reflect the quality of the food. Usually only a 10 minute wait to be seated. Today, our waitress after we finished eating stated we needed to leave the booth because there were people waiting. There were only 4 people waiting to be seated. We were there for approximately 1 hr for our breakfast. I found this comment to be terribly rude by our server. I didn't get a chance to finish my coffee as she started to clear the table immediately. This is the 1st time in my life I've been basically asked to "hurry up and leave". Hope Dottie can remind the servers to be polite to ALL customers. Low rating today is based only on the interaction after we finished eating our breakfast.

3 strikes and you are out. Vistied Dottie's this morning at 11:00 a.m. with a friend and we walked in and saw that four booths were empty and we asked if we could sit. The diner was not very busy. One of the waitresses behind the counter asked us "Is all of your party here?" We responded that we are waiting for another friend. She told us we could not sit down. Then we said, we are going to stay either way, can we just sit. She said No, you will have to wait in the waiting area. So we walked over to the empty counter and found two stools. The same waitress said "I am sorry, you cannot sit here..you have to wait in the waiting area. So, we got up and moved to the front of the store and at that time our friend walked in.

We always come back just for the donuts, they seem to be the highlight of the Dottie's experience. Every now and then we'll go for the other breakfast items, but they have a hard time keeping the same quality. Best donuts in town though!
