Excellent food. I loved their cold lobster roll, their Maine lobster tastes like eating Maine lobster in Maine. The lobster bomb was amazing! Even the potato salad was surprisingly great. Exceptional restaurant, and it's cool how they do things the classic way in terms of taking only cash or check instead of cards. I wish more restaurants were like this one, I'd eat here a few times every week if I lived closer.

We loved coming here when it was the split rail. Unfortunately, we went there under the new name and the service was nonexistent. We ended up leaving due to our order not being taken after 15 mins. It wasn’t even busy. I’m not one to give bad reviews because things happen and thats understandable. Just really unfortunate, we won’t be returning.

Nice homey, comfy spot!! Eggs cooked perfectly, amazing rye toast!Offer Foxon Birch Beer! Made lil' toast soldiers to dip eggs? In a perfect plate, potato's would be peeled and not so very hard and kind of over cooked...I couldn't eat them.But overall, high five breakfast!!Will be back!

I have been an infrequent customer for past two years. The name and food changed a year ago, same owner though. The food is small in portion. They claim scratch and local but bacon is clearly bottom of barrel. They only take cash which in today’s service world is not good. The food is very greasy and undercooked. The service is nice but there is preferential treatment of customers and a lack of execution of orders in the way they are received by the staff and kitchen. We sat down and watched tables who ordered after us get served. so the wait times with a full restaurant is extremely long considering it’s breakfast. I love to support small mom and pop businesses but with what’s their competition in the immediate area it’s tough to go back after our last experience

Best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Everything was taste-ful. Fresh ingredients, home-cooked grits, real butter (even THAT tasted good!) Portions were very generous. Sourdough toast was on point!

Went here with my wife and son. I had the roast turkey on sourdough with chips and a lemonade (fresh squeezed). Both the sandwich and lemonade were amazing.
My son had the lobster bisque, which was one of the better bisques I've had. It was not overly thick and came with little pieces of toasted bread for dipping. So good!
My wife had the Italian chicken sandwich on toasted Italian bread and a lemonade. Her chicken sandwich was very good, too!
