We're from out of town visiting and stopped in after shopping. It was very clean, cute decor and we shared a meal because the portions were so large. The Al pastor burritos were some of the best I've had. The flavor was on point and the meat was not dry at all. We will definitely be back when we stop back in town again! The wait staff are kind and attentive and the food was excellent.

Always a great time. Went with my daughter last night . We got the Molcajete chicken&beef (chef on point) and golden margaritas they are Greeat. The Staff is always friendly, great atmosphere day or night, very clean and maintained. 👍🏾👍🏾

El Tapation is by far our favorite Mexican in the area. We have been coming here for over a decade. The food is always homemade and delicious! The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. There is a Mariachi band on Friday nights, too. If you have sensitive ears and the Mariachi band is playing, I would recommend earplugs for folks with sensitive ears. The trumpets on a confined space can be a bit overwhelming. We've ordered dozens of dishes from their menu and it never disappoints! We've had Fajita, Burritos, Tacos, Enchiladas, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo, Quesadillas, Chile Relleno...the list goes on. We've never had a bad meal. My wife and I almost always order the Burrito De Lujo (with no cooked tomatoes and no tomatillo). It is divine! It's like a Fajita and Burrito had a love child smothered in the spicy and savory queso sauce. MMMmmmMMMmmm If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in! You won't regret it.

Id have taken a picture. But being here for the 2nd time I just could NOT wait to dig in. before I knew it (10-20 seconds ish) later it was all gone. I cant believe how fresh and absolutely FANTASTIC this food is. Nothing so far in Delaware compares in price to plate ratio to food and drink quality. I almost dont want to post this because I dont want it to change. Just ridiculously delicious

First & foremost, I have to complement Paolina (I hope I spelt that correctly) for her wonderful & kind service. Highly attentive, very sweet, and overall a joyful personality. Came in & requested to be seated in her section specifically. The food was better than anticipated. Everything came out hot, cooked to perfect form, and portion size was far more than imagined! We could not be more grateful! Thank you Paolina for such a wonderful evening! Definitely recommend this gem to anyone in the Delaware area.

The service was wonderful. The lady that served us was prompt, available, and accommodating. My issue is with the food. The queso was luke warm, my tacos tasted burnt almost like that burnt popcorn flavor, and although the second batch of chips came out hot, they tasted like they were fried in old oil. I love Mexican food but this left a lot to be desired, the meats you could tell were left over and reheated. My chicken was dry and beef was over warmed.... This was clearly food that had been cooked days prior and then reheated and served. The margarita was just OK.... I really hoped for more cause friends recommended, other than the service was good, I'm not rushing to come back.

Great food and service! We come here for our birthdays a lot and sometimes just in general when we want mexican food, last night we came in for my mom's birthday and we all decided to try something new! We were pretty nervous but the server was kind and patient with us explaining what the dishes had and what they came with. When we got our food we all kept eating off each other's plates because of how GOOD it was. I personally am a very picky eater but I ate almost everything I could off my plate! (The portions are huge so I got full fast!) Everything was perfect and then when we finished the servers came around to sing happy birthday to my mom and we got her dessert which they put a candle on it😊😊 it was so nice and relaxing for us after a LONG day at our jobs, especially with the terrible thunderstorms we've been having, but we enjoyed ourselves very much and will definitely be ordering the same food again and again forever! Thank you so much!!!💓

I ordered lunch through grubhub and wanted stop by and compliment the restaurant & driver for fast, quality service. The food was piping hot and delivered faster than expected. Even after letting the order sit on my counter for a while, everything in my order was fresh and hot. Too bad I spilled the cup of Mariscos soup on my kitchen floor as I took it out of the bag. I tried a spoonful of what remained in the container and it was still warm and soothing to the soul! Thank you! :)
