We used to go to grain every weekend on our boat. One of our favorite spots. This was our first time this spring and we won’t be back. The long wait times for everything was ridiculous. Our entire section of tables was waiting for their food for at least an hour. Kids crying, kids sleeping, even an adult dozing off waiting for her food. Once the food came it was cold. I feel for the servers because they are trying their best to hustle with no support.

Waited 20 mins had no service. Was sitting front and center of outdoor seating watched all servers walk past us...served 5 tables seated after we arrived. Notified staff...nothing! This isn't the first time service was bad...but the first time nobody approached us after hostess seated us.

4-14-24: Yikes! I don't know what the hell happened to this spot. See the images. The French dip sandwich and the chicken cheesesteak were on HOT DOG BUNS! You know, I have fond memories of getting hot dog buns from the French bakery in town (not). The lettuce was on the crab cake sandwich, which expired when OJ did. Service and food took forever, all the food sucked, no substitutions were mentioned. I would say that the 5 year old chef in the back is pretty good for a 5 year old. Worst experience at a restaurant in forever. See my reviews. I'm very fair. I really liked this place, and I was embarrassed I brought people here. I can't bring myself to come here again, and that's sad.5-15-23: Pork belly tacos and burger were overcooked. Sent back the pork belly for a hula bowl, which was much better.Initial: I just like the people I've encountered here. Very friendly atmosphere. Beer list is solid. I didn't really enjoy the jerk beef tacos, but everything else has been good.

We love Grain H20. The drinks are always great and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast bowl with sausage for brunch. They are on top of the docs for a marina too so the views ate great! Yummy!

Bingo guy was great, but there's no way I'll be back. Bar tender looked like she was on something, hat on low, cold and minimal interactions. Took a little bit to get drinks and they didn't get refilled quickly either. Unfortunately, while waiting I had time to observe. Bar tender was eating while making drinks, not washing/santitizing in between bites, but sometimes, she would wipe her hands on a towel that was drapped over the trash can. Mixers were not consistently santitized between drinks. We're I not with friends, I would not have stayed to be disappointed by the food. Burger was cooked to hell and brought back. This is my first time going in about 1-2 years. Back then, the food was great, and the service was prompt and enjoyable, so I did not expect to see such blatent disregard for a number of expected standards.

To preface, this review is specifically about BRUNCH, its misleading menu, and poor service. I rate it a 2-star instead of 1-star because management did ultimately comp the whole meal.Poor Service:1.) We nicknamed our server Road Runner because she did not provide her name and was always so quick to run from the table, even before orders were completed. It was the manager who eventually told us her name was Ashley.2.) REPEATEDLY having to ask for the same things several times.3.) Incorrect drink order. I ordered a hot hard cider, pointing to it on the menu. Having the chance to tell her it was the incorrect drink was out of the picture related to the previous comment that she was quick to leave the table and gone for rather long periods of time in a not-so-busy setting.Misleading Menu:1.) Cap'n Crunch French Toast (pictured below) is in no shape or form, french toast. Described as "Battered French Toast, diced and Cap'nized." The meal is equivalent to fried doughnut centers, same consistency and taste then rolled in cinnamon suger and ground up Cap'n Crunch.2.) Disappointing Bloody Mary. Blue cheese stuffed olives nowhere to be seen, and the stick of house-made jerky was maybe hovering somewhere in the middle of the glass. Would have been interesting to actually try, but again, it was questionable if it was really even there.3.) Scrapple Cheesesteak (also pictured below)... just don't. If an inconsistent brick of scrapple placed on a roll with supposed "OMG cheese" (realistically was melted American cheese) is your idea of a good time, then go for it. Otherwise, I reiterate, just don't. Having 3/4 orders come out with VASTLY different thickness in cuts of scrapple was one thing. Calling it a cheesesteak is something completely different, with chances at being creative, completely missed. Just don't.Overall, the good parts come from the beer/cider on tap. Maybe, though unlikely, would come again to sit at the bar for drinks, but never for service and/or food.
