We were there to celebrate our son's birthday. There were 11 in our party. Our son has an egg allergy and the chef was very accommodating and made sure he had egg free fried rice. It was a fun experience watching the chef cook our food right there. It was all delicious! We plan on going back in the near future.

Typically I have a great experience at this location. However, today I called an order for vegetable fried noodles in and the meal was disappointing. There were no vegetables at all. If I was told that was not available I would have ordered a side of vegetables. I was told that the vegetables are really on the lighter side like just onions. That is not vegetable fried noodles. I think employees taking call in orders should have a clear understanding of what is available and what is not.

By far the best hibachi I've ever been to. The food is excellent. The rice is not dry and is very flavorful. The meats are tender and cooked perfectly. Never had a issue with the food or service. Prices are on the higher side.
Parking: Plenty of parking you just might have to take a few extra steps.

The man who served us didnt even look like he wanted to be there, i get it i worked in a restaurant, youre tired but at least talk a little, the thing he flipped the rice with dropped and he just picked it up and continued to use it. 5 minutes after i had the clearly undercooked shrimp i threw up at least 5 times in the bathroom. When we said we didnt want to catch any more of the food in our mouths, he threw another piece, we’re not dogs. I wouldnt come back here personally, no tip left from me.

I have been to Hibachi Grill in Bear before the staff is very friendly and entertaining. It was my dad’s birthday and we were there about 7:30 about 15-20 minute wait enough time to grab a cocktail at their bar. The food was tasty and freshly cooked as always. One thing I noticed both times I ate there they do go very heavy on their butter salt and soy/teriyaki sauces they cook with which is very heavy on my stomach as well especially on the rice. Probably not very healthy as you would think Authentic Asian food is ?

This was my first time here in a few years and I was quite disappointed. The chef acted like he would rather have been any place else. Our chicken was dry and the scallops were overcooked. Overall we paid too much for a very disappointing meal.
