If I could give this Starbucks zero stars, I would. This has to be the worst location I’ve ever been to. Not only is the customer service hit or miss, but the quality of the coffee and intention to get orders right is lacking. Nothing is made correctly or with care and I’m certain they’re diluting their drinks (cold brew coffee and refreshers I can attest to specifically). I’ve complained to Starbucks Customer Care repeatedly but to no avail. Though this is the closest Starbucks to me, I’ve opted to take my business to other Starbucks locations (Hares Corner team is amazing as is Christiana Fashion Center!!) and independent coffee shops (Little Goat in Newark). Starbucks, hear me: As a former Starbucks partner, PLEASE train the Eden Square team. This is wholly unacceptable.

The customer service here is almost always awful. The baristas and cashiers are almost always rude, unpleasant, standoffish, and unhelpful . I feel bad because some of them are nice. And then there are some who are acting nice so when there’s an issue with a drink or the line is long, they are rude and nasty to customers. I would suggest going to any other location in delaware. At this place, the service is either rly good or rly bad and it gravitates to rly bad.

The worst Starbucks I’ve ever been, not only customer service is very rude but this is the 4th time that they gave me a wrong coffee with my name on it and the guy at the window argued with me that the coffee that I’m refusing to accept is a correct coffee when clearly it’s not the coffee that I ordered, no apologies every single time.. just rude…
2 days ago paid $8 dollars for a medium matcha, paid extra for extra foam and this is how it looks,, ABSOLUTELY NO FOAM AT ALL , ridiculous, might as well go to Wawa and pay $5 dollars for a matcha.
What a terrible experience. Staff was rude. Nothing in the displays at 10:30 am - we were told they decided to close early so they didn’t bother with the cases. They were closing early because the closers decided to not come in. The oatmeal was just powder because they didn’t put enough water in it, and when we asked for more water, that just annoyed them. They got annoyed when we asked for sugar for our coffee, too. And my grande was barely filled to the halfway mark in the cup. Worst Starbucks I’ve been to.

I appreciate the help of Brandon with his great customer service and making sure that I would get my food quickly. The system went down with my order, but he didn't panic. Brandon had me pull to the side, got my order ready within 2 minutes, and walked my food out to me. He said that he cared about customer satisfaction, and it clearly showed. Thank you for your help!

Waited in the drive through (5 cars total) for 22 minutes only to be given the wrong drink. Wasn't even gonna attempt to go back and try for the correct one. So infuriating to pay 6$ for a coffee, wait 20 minutes+ and it's wrong.

Been coming here for a while and this location definitely has excellent customer service. However, as of late my orders have been correct 75% of the time. Minor errors, but nonetheless. Today was my first time calling in regards to my order being wrong and the manager on duty was extremely helpful and pleasant. I came back and was given my correct order and a token of appreciation.
Again, the customer service here is, some of the best I’ve encountered which is why I keep coming back, but I would encourage the employees to take a double look at the orders as they come through especially the mobile orders.
