Excellent staff, service, specials are great, craft beer is the center-piece. There are other choices in the area, but I think this is the best if you're looking for a gathering spot with family and friends. Great crowd of locals, and everyone gets along and has a good time! Plenty of space inside, clean, and parking is never a problem. Have to give a 'hats off' to the kitchen staff too. Food tastes the same every time--very consistent! (Great job!)

on April 7th my wife and i went to Stewarts for a meal and a drink. we go there ever so often but this time it did not look busy at all. we where seated and looked at our menu but no one came and offered a drink or any service we noticed some employees sitting so we thought they must be on break. as we looked around there was another employee just standing there watching tv. 20minutes later and not even an offer of a drink or anything. so my wife and i looked at each other still indication of help so we left. also we go there for the Irish red but they are always out of it.

Went last night for our second visit for our LinkedIn 'Delaware Tech Beers' group. First time there were 8 of us, last night about 20. This establishment is consistently accommodating to large groups and both the bartender and our server had no problem managing and splitting up into multiple bills (which is rare these days). Beers are great and the food is fantastic too. We will be back in another 12 months as we rotate our monthly meet-ups at various breweries and brew pubs around Wilmington.

I love this little gem. Situated in an odd strip mall, you would never guess what you get by opening the door. Lots of brick and wood, with a full bar down the middle. Craft beers rotate, and there is a mix of styles at all times that can satisfy most anyone. Very good menu as well, with solid pub fare and elevated pub fare choices. Kids are welcome. Service here is always friendly and attentive.

Wow. Took me awhile because I can't see into the restaurant. I didn't know what to expect. However fantastic burgers "the best in Bear" excellent service and fantastic beers. I'll definitely be back. Probably weekly unless I want to be stuck with McDonald'

Waited a few minutes to be greeted, the place was clean, it wasn't completely packed but it had some customers in the establishment, I ordered a corned beef nothing special it was good, typical pub food I asked for a pickle on the side I assumed that that would come with the sandwich but I had to ask for that silverware I had to ask for that, customer service was a little bit slow friendly but slow. I would come back The prices are a little bit expensive. This is a typical pub.

We used to frequent Stewart’s when they were doing brunch on Sunday before the pandemic. We were extremely disappointed on our first visit back. There appeared to only be one waitress working while a man, dressed head to toe in Stewart’s Brewing Co clothing and intermittently going to the host stand to give patrons menus (so I’m assuming an owner/manager), walked around drink in hand talking to people at the bar. We ordered two drinks which took approximately 20 minutes to come out, followed by a starter of Bavarian pretzels and two sandwiches for our main course. The pretzels were very obviously the frozen SuperPretzels you can find in any grocery store. Also, despite asking to start with those they came out with one of the sandwiches. We assumed the second would be coming shortly but it was never brought to our table. 15-20 minutes later when we finally split the sandwich after waiting to eat we just asked for the check to leave. The second sandwich was never put in as it wasn’t on the check. I know the waitress was aware that a second sandwich was ordered as she asked what side was wanted with it. Mistakes happen but the frozen pretzels and greasy sandwich were enough to stop us from coming back.

Always an excellent place to go. A bit pricey, but that's the norm everywhere now.

Stewart's Brewing Company is one of my favorite brewpubs in Delaware. I've been going there for years, and I've never had a bad meal or beer. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the beer is always perfectly brewed. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting.I especially love their seasonal beers. They recently released a pumpkin ale that is absolutely delicious. It's not too sweet, and it has a nice, spicy kick to it. I also really enjoy their Oktoberfest beer. It's a classic Bavarian-style amber lager that is perfect for fall.In addition to their great beer and food, Stewart's Brewing Company also has a great atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying a meal on a nice day. They also have a large bar area, so it's a great place to catch up with friends or watch a game.Overall, I highly recommend Stewart's Brewing Company to anyone who is looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal and a refreshing beer.**Here are some of the things I like most about Stewart's Brewing Company:*** The food and beer are always delicious.* The staff is friendly and attentive.* The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.* They have a great selection of seasonal beers.* The restaurant is spacious and comfortable.* The outdoor patio is great for enjoying a meal on a nice day.**If you're looking for a great place to eat and drink in Bear, Delaware, be sure to check out Stewart's Brewing Company.
