“This was my first time visiting Lucky Buffet, and honestly, the first impression wasn’t great. Instead of a warm greeting, we were asked right away about my son’s age, which set the tone.

The food overall was disappointing. The hibachi teriyaki with noodles, shrimp, peppers, onions, and egg lacked flavor — it wasn’t sweet or seasoned the way I like it, and I couldn’t even finish it. The sushi rolls didn’t look fresh and seemed like they’d been sitting out too long. A lot of the buffet food looked like it hadn’t been refreshed or switched out, and some items were even cold, which made it feel neglected. On top of that, the grill cook came across overwhelmed and a bit unfriendly.

For $80, I expected better quality and service. Drinks are self-serve (which is fine), but tables weren’t cleaned quickly and the atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming. Compared to other buffets like Hibachi at People’s Plaza, this one falls short. Hopefully, they’ll improve the freshness of the food and overall service, but for now, I wouldn’t recommend it.”

I went here for dinner. After being greated , the lady asked for $21. Dollars. I haven't been to a restaurant where they want payment up front. After eating here, I can see why. The food has problems. The customers would have a hard time paying for luke warm food to room temperature food. I tried alot of different dishes, and less than half was hot. I did notice that when a new pan of food was dropped off, the cold was dumped on top. Another thing is the temperature of the water under the food pans can't be hot enough. 5 out of 6 items were almost room temperature. You also have to get your own drinks and silverware. I tried this place. I will not be coming back.

The lady in front of us was very rude to us. We told her that our 4-year-old daughter did not eat by mouth because she is fed through a G tube in her stomach and she got very angry, asking why we had gone there with my daughter's condition.

Some of the food's wasn't labeled. They were too busy for me to get someone to ask at different times about the items that weren't labeled.

The food was ok and there were good choices. But no service at all.

They charge for the buffet, I clouding the drink, upfront. For someone like me who doesn't drink any liquids while eating, that's already money paid for something not needed. Then you get your own cups and serve your drink yourself, and get everything yourself. So there's no service at your table at all until you leave and they clean it. So I guess that the buffet price also includes the tips even though it's not explicitly mentioned on the receipt.

This place definitely went down when it came to all 3 above. Paid $20 per person on Sunday & it was definitely not worth it. I used to love this place now the only thing I liked was the ice cream and that’s something they ship in.
The food was cold & hard. With no flavor.
The sushi & hibachi were nonexistent.
I legit paid $40 to eat ice cream bc everything else was gross.
On top of that I’ve never seen a serve yourself.
Then the lady looked at me crazy when I was asking what tips are for being we are doing everything ourselves. Wasn’t trying to be rude but the look she gave me. There was a language barrier.
Definitely won’t be coming back here.
Leaving my thoughts in hopes to save others their money.

The food is ok.. some clams were disgusting. The Mac and cheese was watery and the lady kept adding water to it .They looked more like macaroni soup with no flavor. The sushi is not very good.
The apple pie was raw . The nuggets were cold. The best thing was the rice and the chicken wings and the fries and any other potatoes and the mushrooms. The price is good. It was a clean restaurant. You get your own drinks and forks and straws .

I’ve been to many buffets in my time and I have to say, never again! The food was not good at all. You can tell the food had been out too long. Even the 10 year old that accompanied this dining experience would not eat the food…

Food was often cold. Hibachi is cooked well. Though, the avocado in the sushi looked old. One of the employees seemed rude, or perhaps she isn’t too familiar with American etiquette. Also getting ice cream to go is charged for. You serve yourself and your drinks which are included in the buffet price.

Great quality Chinese buffet with hibachi and a large sushi section! The buffet options seem endless, it was very well attended with fresh food added constantly, and the food was great. At Chinese buffets, I usually expect everything to be extremely salty, but this one was not like that.

The price is extremely reasonable, it comes with a self-serve fountain drink, and the booths are comfortable. I went on a Saturday night and there was no wait because of the expensive seating inside. Although there were many people there, it did not feel crowded because everything is spread out nicely.

The ambiance was what you would expect at a buffet, which is utilitarian. Not a place for a first date or romantic evening, but one of the best buffets I've tried in a long time!

The food was cold. We gave a tip and we didn't have a server. You had to get your utensils and your drinks. We will probably not go again.
