This is the best breakfast location in Bethany, hands down. They make everything fresh, from scratch, to order each day and per meal. The muffins and pastries are so good we eat at least 2 per person per day and we bring home dozens to give to family and friends. Their breakfast sandwiches are worth any wait. Everything is very worth the cost, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Food was very average. We placed a to go order, and they left out a sandwich. Went back to get the 2nd sandwich and they left a key ingredient off the sandwich, did not return. Do better next time!

Beach Break is the best sandwich shop in Bethany by a million miles! Gets busy in the summer but totally worth it... the breakfast sandwiches are so ridiculously good! Everyone who visits me down the beach, THIS is the first place they want to go to. (i never argue) Reading through some of the other reviews on Yelp, the negative ones are quite simply New Jersey and New York douchebags who infest Bethany for 3 months out of the year and are just unhappy people in life. Hopefully they stay the hell out of Delaware and stick to low class Wildwood, because they really ruin the vibe of the Delaware beaches.

Started with turkey, cheese, and apple sandwich on ciabatta. Really enjoyed that combo. The other choice was chicken salad on lettuce with tomato. The salad was light on mayo, a good thing, but no dressing for the salad component, which I viewed negatively. Thus 4 stars, but I am going back. Heard they have a nice breakfast.

I've resisted leaving a review in the past, assuming i'm doing something wrong. And remained consistently polite in spite of just flat out rude staff. Like, they're rude from go, every time. They're nice to the BBP, so I guess maybe it's a local vs tourist thing? Could be ageism, I suppose; I am old compared to 18yos.Also they appear to not follow standard health code when prepping food; eg, the employees mixing batter and not wearing anything to keep their long hair from falling in.Anyway, I get it - working service is not fun, and I imagine I'd dislike tourists if I were a local. So I don't begrudge these teens their anger... but it does make the place unpleasant.

We waited an hour and a half for two bagels one with cream cheese and one with egg and cheese. The bagels were fine but the wait made them simply not worth it. Don't go here stay away go anywhere else on the boardwalk there is so many better options please do not go here.

I just left the Beach Break & Bakrie with my parents. It’s 10:54am on Saturday, July 1st. I have never in my life experienced such horrible and disrespectful service. There were a group of people waiting in the restaurant for a new pot of coffee to finish brewing and the girl with the blonde pulled back hair gave such a snarling attitude to everyone that some people left without coffee and some people left with decaf because they didn’t want to be “in her way” anymore. My parents had forgotten if they ordered a medium or large coffee and when they asked her to reconfirm, you would have thought they were asking this girl to run a marathon. She threw up her hands and reluctantly looked through the receipts. We didn’t want to cause any more “trouble” so just took a small cup to end the clearly traumatic experience. When people were asking about getting an iced coffee (which is on the menu), she rolled her eyes and said “well obviously the coffee is hot first”. We just arrived in Bethany Beach and this completely ruined our first experience. The only silver lining that is we made friends with about 5 strangers who were also in shock at this girls’ behavior. You should really be weary who you have representing your business.
