Bethany Boathouse

Went yesterday then I ordered crab salad - there was hardly any crabmeat , I had a hard time finding any , there was more cheese in it . Our server made a mistake of what drinks were specials and gave us the table next to us their bill. Would not recommend. I was very disappointed because we were given a gift card and was very disappointed.

Food was good. Decent options and quick service. Nothing spectacular but nice place for family to go. They allowed my dog on the patio and brought him a bowl of water which was very nice. They had live music which was really nice

The restaurant has a casual bar atmosphere. The food was very good and the staff is well trained and friendly. We had excellent wing, a huge bar pretzel with dipping sauces and a great salad. Hot food was hot cold food was cold. Everything was delicious. The manager was friendly and helpful. We will go back there when we are in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed an excellent crab cake sandwich and BBQ chicken flatbread in a nice environment with great service.

We wanted a nice, casual dinner and found it here. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The service was pleasant and fairly quick. The food was good but spicy hot. I wish our server told me that before I ordered.

Love this little bar situation. It is basically bethany’s only real bar. Me and all my friends have grown up and seen it built. We love coming. Highly recommend an orange crush it’s a beach special.

We were outside at the gazebo bar. The female bartender (sorry I forgot her name) was very friendly and fun! We had chicken nachos which were the best I ever had. We had the special crusher of the day and that was so good. If I lived here I would be here all the time.

So good. We got takeout from this place nearly every day of our week-long trip and ate it on the beach. Favorites: Ahi Tuna munchie is not to be missed!! Buffalo rockfish tacos!! Side of Fries are delish. Nacho chips side also nice. Soft shell crab tacos also something you dont see everywhere and very good.

We had Happy Hour (3-5pm) here at the Bethany Boathouse this past week & was pleasantly surprised. Last time we were here it was chaotic. But this time it was a super experience. Christie, our fav bartender from OVBFG, took great care of us! Kind, attentive, funny, and caring. She's such a treasure!
Mom got a Pinto Gris in a fun short souvenir cup and I tried their 20oz Orange Crush also in a take home squeezee cup! We shared an excellent plate $7.50 Chicken Nacho's and Steamed Shrimp (4?) and waffle fries. It was a clear breezy afternoon and we sat at the bar - GREAT VIBE.

Nice ambiance with two bars and plenty seating for dining in. Live music and water fountains made the atmosphere feel good. Gets busy so you may want to call ahead. I had the mussel entree, served a good amount and had a nice taste. I’d recommend stopping here if you spend time at Bethany Beach.

Comfortable place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Had live entertainment that was nice and not too loud. Portions are large and priced reasonably. They have drink specials every night. Will definitely be returning.
