My daughter and I went to Blue Coast Bethany as part of a girls weekend trip. It’s was absolutely FANTASTIC. The oysters were delicious and some of the freshest we’ve ever had. I had the seafood stew which had such a rich, and savory broth which highlighted the fish. My daughter had the crab cakes which were easily the best we’ve ever had. They had no fillers, all crab. Last, I cannot remember the last time we had a dinner in which the staff was not subtly nudging us to leave to turn the table over. It was a great experience, which we will not forget.

Loved this place. My lobster pasta was so delicious I was compelled to taste the dishes of my partner, my brother and his wife all of which I would order upon my return. The crab cakes were my absolute favorite.I will be back and I'm a three hour drive from the restaurant. That says it all.My only regret is not seeing the sunset as it was overcast when we were there.Waitress was fantastic.Five stars all the way.

Our second time eating here and we will keep coming back. Food is excellent - fresh, clean, flavorful. Prices are reasonable. Service was top notch. Our waitress (Megan) was simply the best...she absolutely took care of my wife's celiac needs and was just a delight to talk with. She should be highly valued by her employer. Campfire cake! Save room for that one!Dietary restrictions: My wife is celiac and the staff was very knowledgeable and conscientious.

Came in for a quick little bite because this place was recommended to us since we were in for a quick visit. We ordered scallops and oysters. The scallops were cooked to perfection super soft and fluffy. The oysters were delicious also. Our waitress was very nice and answered all the questions we had. It was definitely worth the stop.

Came in for a solo meal and sat at the bar on a busy Friday night. The bartender was always attentive and very helpful. Honestly it was one of the best meals I have ever had - I got the vegetarian farmer’s bowl and had a crab cake added to the side. It was all crab. No filler and the vegetables were amazing. Truly an amazing meal.

Really good happy hour especially if you like raw bar items. The wine list here is one of the better down at the beach as well. Service is always good.

Good food. Server pushed a lot of upselling, but overall nice place. Packed for happy hour. I hear you need to be there an hour before open to get a seat at the

Stumbled on this locations after driving out from Dewey with “food” thrown into Google. Ended up realizing they have another location and brewery (if I read it all correctly) in Rehoboth on 1 as well.Incredibly glad that of the places open in the offseason, this was one of them AND the one we landed in.From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. We usually try to avoid showing up to a restaurant if it’s within a hour of closing… we got here with a little more time than that, but our servers all made sure to tell us it was fine and they would be happy to take our orders.Matt made one of the freshest, tastiest tuna bowls that we ever had, on the raw bar right in front of us. He also took the time to explain the different oysters he was shucking for another order. Our bar service from Tiffany was excellent, and when we heard there was a 13 year old Pappy available, knew we had to give it a try. When my wife was torn between two drinks, she asked a pretty simple question and then gave a “I know what you need”, and came back with a drink that exceeded her expectations.Lauren, which my understanding was the manager for the night, was a great addition to the crew and we had a great chat about the place, and a good conversation.Dessert was bread pudding, and was highly recommended by all 3 of them. It was great finish to the evening.A great group of people, with an excellent selection of food and drinks. Will certainly return this summer!

Michael was our server. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. My hubby and I split an appetizer of baked oysters. They were very tasty and so tender, they melted in our mouths! My lobster cavatappi was delicious, as usual. My husband was very pleased with his Togarashi tuna which had a little "kick". A very pleasurable dining experience capped off by 25% discount on entire check every Wednesday in off-season. We are never disappointed dining here.

We went to Bluecoast Seafood Grill and the food was spectacular. Lindsay, our waitress, went over the top making sure everything was perfect. She took our picture for us and engaged in fun banter. We had such a fun time.

Sarah made us feel welcomed at the bar during their happy hour. She is an ambassador for the SoDel restaurant group. We started with the Sewansecott oyster varity from Hog Island, VA...and primed our taste buds for more. We tried the PEI oysters and it was love at first bite. Our entres were delicious, my wife ordered the shrimp dumplings and the shaved Brussel sprout salad. I ordered the Rock Fish special with butternut squash, cheddar mashed potato, Brussel sprouts in a lemony butter cream sauce. Their homemade bread helped me win the clean plate award. I enjoyed the meal so much, i asked Sarah for another and the second time was even better!!I admit i was a pig, and i have no regrets...we will return!! Thanks Sarah for an enjoyable SoDel experience.

Every dish was superbly cooked, presented and served. It has been a very long time since I enjoyed eating at a resturant. We had the oyster sampler, the shrimp dumplings, lobster cavatini, crab cakes, seared scallops, filet mignon and a lovely key lime pie with a beautiful raspberry sauce and the campfire cake. The cocktail selection and Happy Hour options were abundant and interesting. The wine selection was spectacular and we enjoyed the Friday half price per bottle special. It was nice to not feel rushed in the least. Server was accomplished and well versed in the menu. The food was the true star of the night :)Wheelchair accessibility: Though the parking lot is gravel there is ample space at the front to pull up to accomodate a wheelchair. The ramp was wide, though perhaps steep for some. Personally I had no trouble pushing the chair while my husband rolled. Many patrons offered to help and I have no doubt the staff would have helped if asked. Hostesses were very accomodating and after the transfer into a booth they relocated the chair for us. The chair would have fit easily tableside but we asked for a window booth for the beautiful view :)
