The service and food were equally excellent! One of our new favorite restaurants! The waitress was amazing and knowledgeable and personable.
what happened? Did the chef/cook leave ? Calamari Fradiablo was a cold breaded Calamari on a bed of worm thick pasta. I always recommend Difebos, not anymore.
Great food and value for a beach restaurant! Almost all the pastas are made from scratch, coupled with homemade sauces. We tried the truffle gnocchi and chicken parmeasan - both were excellent. The build your own pasta dish portion was a bit on the smaller side but overall the table had more than enough food to share. Also love that they have Guinness on draft, albeit not as traditional for Italian food. Would certainly eat here again next time I am in Bethany.

I enjoyed watching the pizza makers until I was told to back off. Part of the enjoyment is watching the pizza being made. I did back off as requested and left no tip for the pizza maker

Food was absolutely delicious, service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to deliver six meals exactly as ordered - even with a few of our family asking for additions or special twists to their meal. My pasta was cooked perfectly with a light and flavorful vodka sauce. Everyone loved their food! Can’t wait to go back!

DiFebo's Restaurant in Bethany Beach was quite a surprise but a wonderful find. My family and I go to Rehoboth Beach every year. A woman at the outlets told us DiFebo's was her favorite Italian restaurant. Our family decided to give it a try. Their chicken parmesan was the BEST I have ever eaten anywhere! My three year old loved their spaghetti and finished it. The portion sizes are quite large so I was surprised to see all their spaghetti eaten! We will be back next year for during our annual beach week!
We've dined at both restaurants many times and all were 5 stars. This time everything started great as usual and our server was spectacular. We ordered the red and the white Sangria and they were disappointing bad, but we kept them because we didn't want to seem like complainers. I order the Cod Putanesca Nepolitan and my wife the Shrimp Spaghettini. When our food was brought out we asked for grated cheese and were told that our server had to bring it. Unfortunately our server was taking an order for a large table and then a conversation about family etc followed. We didn't get the cheese for almost 10 minutes. My food was very good, but my wife received spaghetti, probably #8. Most people probably wouldn't care or even notice the difference, she ordered Spaghettini because it's thinner and the texture is different. She doesn't like Spaghetti, but tried to eat it. After a couple of bites and tasting the shrimp, she couldn't eat it. I tasted it and it was not good at all and I do like Spaghetti. I agreed with her, the sauce was also tasteless and sparce and the shrimp tasted like it had been boiled and the texture was mushy.
When our server finally returned and said you didn't like it, and my wife said no
She offered to get her something else, but at that point, who wants to wait for another order. We didn't even ask to have it taken of our bill.
A few minutes later a lady came over, didn't identify herself, and said "you had an issue"with your meal. My wife said, I didn't have an issue, I just didn't like it. "May I ask why" and she told her. This resulted in a heated discussion over types of pasta which my wife actually said I didn't come here to argue, I came to have an enjoyable relaxing dining experience.
This person who we assume was the manager was very unprofessional. You don't start an argument with a customer because they didn't like something, or tell them that they should like it because it's the same or similar. This is why I gave a 1 star for the atmosphere. I wasn't finished eating, but no longer had an appetite.
Our server was very cold and inattentive afterwards. We still left $25% gratuity of based on the original total before they removed her meal.
To add insult to injury, we went across the street to the market and I got $12 a pound pasta salad only to get home and had two bites and threw it out. It was awful.
I guess we just had a bad day

DIFEBOSSSS!!! My family came here last night and had the best time. Our waiter Julia was so kind and funny. She knew the menu top to bottom and was able to give us recommendations for every person. She even had tried all of the mocktails and could recommend drinks to our underage family members. We sat on the outdoor patio and highly recommend it, fantastic atmosphere. Between the soft Italian instrumental music and delicious bread and olive oil, we felt like we had been transported to Italy. All of our drinks and food were amazing. The flavors were robust and you can tell these home cook recipes have lasted since 1989 for a reason. They are DELICIOUS! We recommend the Chicken parm, anything in the Bob’s sauce or Vodka sauce, (although everything is great) and for dessert we LOVED the tiramisu, chocolate mousse tarte, and espresso martinis. This place is great for gluten allergies despite the gluten heavy cuisine! This has become a staple for us now when we visit Bethany. We can’t recommend the grocery store enough across the street as well! We have been getting coffee and pastries for breakfast on vacation there for two years now!!! We love you difebo’ssssss
Dietary restrictions: My sister is severely celiac and they had gluten free pasta and bread for her, that was baked fresh to order!

My family and I absolutely LOVED our experience here! We had a wonderful time with Julia as our waitress. She was accommodating, friendly, and fun. We also appreciated how well she knew the menu and her willingness to provide recommendations. This will most definitely be a restaurant we come back to in the future.
