Drinks were 5 stars! Excellent pink grapefruit margarita made with fresh juice perfectly balanced( not tart not sweet) . This from a girl who is picky about my margaritas! My scallops were well prepared and tasty. The few bites I stole from my husband's plate of ribs and Mac and cheese( left over from Thursday special ) were outstanding and my favorite of the night. Will return for a Thursday special for sure.!Parking: Can't imagine trying to find parking when in season. Off season was free as a bonus but still can be tricky for this popular spot

We arrived on a Sun evening at 7:10 PM having noted on the website that reservations are not permitted after 6 PM, and it is “first come, first served.” Despite this statement, no fewer than 9 groups of people arrived for reservations after our 7:10 arrival. The hostess was disorganized and appeared challenged to maintain a reasonable flow of patrons. We were passed over for a table for 3 numerous times, by several groups who also arrived without indicating reservations. There also appeared that patrons who were white and/or known to the hostess were given preference.We ended up leaving after waiting for over an hour. We had been given a seating time at 8 PM when we arrived at 7:10 PM. By 8:15 PM it was obvious that we would never be seated so we left. Extremely disappointed, and TOTALLY avoidable.

19th year in Bethany and first time we’ve tried this amazing place. The blueberry coconut margarita was fabulous. I had the corn crab soup and wedge salad - both outstanding. My daughter had the rockfish and peach cobbler and both were delicious. We will add this to our rotation next year.

Ok. You can fault me for being an I sider and biased; but I’m a huge foodie and I have worked at the best restaurants at the beach ( the hobbit the grove market etc for 40 years). Patsy’s packs a big punch. The drinks are outstanding, well thought out - huge pours-and conscience flavor profiles. Can’t be beat by any other restaurant in Bethany!! The food; well WOW; just wow. Mother and daughter team-Patsy and Robin knock it out of the park. You want fresh, local prepared daily; well you found your spot. Well thought out dishes highlight the eastern shore with key west flavors. Nobody; especially the big wigs intown ( corp) will ever compare to the daily males of small business. The craft is pure love expressed it their fresh seafood dishes. Red snapper flown in from Florida is outstanding; their daily catch is filleted to perfection ( tuna, Mahi, rockfish). It’s truly amazing that Patsy’s had been intown for 25 years and some have never heard of them. I think the most logical thought is the regulars don’t want to let the cat out of the bag If you want a truly memorable meal in Bethany; than fight your way through the reservation system ( a bit outdated) and have the best homemade from scratch meal at the beach. It’s not quantity it’s quality ❤️

We love this place so much. We often go and sit at the bar. It never disappoints. Peter was the bartender last night and he was great. The bar is small so we are always happy when we can get a seat there. We are determined to try every thing on the menu. Last night we tried 2 new dishes. Eggplant ~ Herb Seasoned Crusted Fried eggplant with herbed goat cheese, sauteed tri-colored peppers, onions & spinach with a pomodoro sauce & an herb salad Lentil crusted Rockfish with curry dahl, lemon/garlic spinach and garlic chili crisp And Peach Cobbler with an expresso martini for dessert. All of it was outstanding!! Can’t wait to go back.

I had originally been told my table would be ready by 7pm at the latest, but upon arrival I was told to wait an extra 20 minutes which was no trouble at all as I understood the table was finishing up. Returning after 20 minutes I was told to wait another 5-10 minutes and upon returning again in 10 minutes the table was still finishing up so we waited patiently at the entrance. After being seated, it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to show up. She was absent constantly and over the course of a two hour dinner we saw her 5 times in total and were constantly waiting on her. After having an issue with the bill being charged for an item we had not ordered, she was trying to explain it but was slurring her words to a point it was not understandable. I had also asked for the check after ordering a final drink because I knew it would take a while to be processed, but from the time ordered to the time it arrived was another 25 minutes. The food was great but the service was not able to be overlooked as it stretched a meal for two people into several hours.

We were underwhelmed with the food. Small portions, big price. I did not like the Mexican shrimp cocktail at all. My fish was cooked perfectly but the rest of my dish was lack luster.
