Manhattan resident perspective: pizza here is by FAR the best in the area. Please do not go to Grottos or other shops in the area. Pomodoro makes some of the best pizza outside of any city by far. It’s always refreshing to get that crunchy crust and they execute on that here very well. The main difference between NYC pizza and Pomodoro is NYC pizza has a very tomato flavor profile. Pomodoro has a big cheese flavor profile. I think both are great! Will 100% come back to Pomodoro...
Pizza take-out only - whole pie and slices. I like that they had a selection of slices available with different toppings and generous size slices. We ordered 3 slices and on the first bite it was crisp and very flavorful. Cooked perfectly. The cheese they use is high quality. I will definitely be returning hopefully before they close for the season. Highly recommend and not too far from Delaware Seashore State Park where we are camping. Very efficient service.
