Ropewalk Bethany Beach

The food here is actually bad. Our dishes ranged from fine to bad. The mushroom and fish tacos were just ok. Although the addition of shredded cheddar on the fish taco was an interesting choice. The $28 shrimp and crab Mac and cheese was actually awful. It came out warm, not hot and had zero flavor. The pasta was mush and disintegrated the moment it went in your mouth. The kids cheese burger and fries were good. They say they’re gluten friendly but do not have a dedicated fryer and the staff didn’t seem too knowledgeable about what is and isn’t GF or what their safety protocols are for allergies. I would not recommend this place at all. For the money, there are much better places to eat. This feels like a tourist trap.

Our waitress went above and beyond tonight getting our drinks and food super fast due to our child being fussy. Thank you for making our evening enjoyable. We definitely will be back.

The chicken is very good but the Pulled Pork Suxs kinda. Its a nice place otherwise and the waffle fries are amazing

This was a great place for a nice lunch with fiends. I've been to other locations and the same dish here was way better. Will repeat when I'm town again.

We were sat at a table with dirty plates and utensils! Food was passable though; fries were super good. Put a smile on my face. Our waitress was amazing but the hostess was unfriendly and had an AirPod in. Overpriced for what it is but that’s just beach food for you. The Delmarva burger was good.

We came here for dinner and had a good time. The vibes are very relaxed and casual. We had good service and good food. Would recommend the oysters as well as the crab cakes!!

Food was great. Tuna appetizer was delicious as was the salmon. My only issue was with the espresso martini. It wasn’t cold as you’d expect from being mixed in an ice shaker. Instead of espresso, it seemed more like watered-down coffee was used. It was very watery and did not have a very strong coffee/espresso taste. Reminded me of an iced coffee that sat out too long. Won’t order that again. Also, there were NO prices on the drink menu so we either had to ask about each one or just take a chance it wouldn’t cost too much.

We’ve been coming here for years, love this place! We are always able to sit outside in the 2nd floor patio with no wait, the service is always friendly and fast, food is reliable and of course the drinks are great. It’s a reliable, fun and convenient place for lunch or dinner after a day at the beach. My daughter loves getting the kids meals that are served on the frisbee :) we love the wings, crab cake sandwiches, fries, fish tacos, and of course the variety of yummy crushes. It’s a no brainer to go to Ropewalk when you’re at Bethany beach!

The picture lady would not let us not leave a review, she stood behind our table while we left this review. Tried to force us to buy the pictures and made us leave this review.

She was very pressing. She would not leave alone for a pictures. Literally watched us leave a review and then took a picture of us. Food was okay, but that photographer was very disrupting.
