Food was great. But breakfast for two cost us over $60 …. Wow. Also, really look at your receipt the waiter charged me 6 dollars more from the menu price. He said it was for the cheese added but there was no cheese, then he only reduced it by 2 dollars. My wife also was over charged for eggs over easy. Bacon and home fries.. sorry i would not recommend only for the high prices. This breakfast should have only cost us 30…

Good brunch spot. Very knowledgeable about celiac and able to accommodate. The French toast and kids eggs and toast were good. The crab omelette was ok, but could have had more flavor/seasoning in my opinion. I would definitely return.

Food and service was very good here! Had the crab omelette and it was filled with crabmeat. Coffee was very good and our waitress was super friendly and accommodating.Bloody Mary was ok, lacked a little flavor/ spice.

Every time I visit Bethany, I go to the Penguin almost every day. Best food near by the beach BY FAR, huge portions, great value. Staff is exceptional and often remember me. Jess is extra fantastic!!

We were having a girls trip in the area and stopped in here for breakfast on our last day. So happy we did! This place was wonderful, service was great and the portions large and plenty to share or have left overs for later. My sister and I shared Andy's Breakfast wrap (Soft flour tortilla packed with home fries, scrambled eggs and Vermont white cheddar cheese with potatoes) it was plenty to share. The table shared the Penguin Pop Tart with raspberry filling (House made pastry topped with a maple glaze icing. Filled with a choice of strawberry, brown sugar, or daily special) Everyone loved it! Another one of us had the Nina's Nutella Delight (French toast quarters stuffed with Nutella and bananas), she also loved her choice. And last but not least was the Maple Meat Lover's Scrambler (Eggs scrambled with bacon, ham, and sausage with a hint of maple syrup) this was also a hit and once again was huge and most of it was taken to go. I loved this place and will return next time I visit this area again.
