Three Blonde Bakers

Specifically came here for the Vanderwende ice cream, but it was melted and stored improperly. This affected the quality and taste of this normally fabulous ice cream.

In the future I will only go to the Vanderwende original stores where the ice cream is fresh and delicious.

Crumb cake and croissants were excellent. It took a little effort to find the entrance since it is located on an ally perpendicular to Garfield Ave. and there is little signage.

Loooove the mocha frappe!!!!!!!!! So yummy!

This spot has a combination of coffee, smoothies, and pastries. They have good drinks and can handle a lot of people pretty well. There isn't much seating inside so its best to get a drink and be prepared to walk around with it.

This root beer float has changed my mind on all sweets going forward. At this point, diabetes seems like a worthwhile tradeoff for drinking these floats for life.

Fantastic place for a variety of treats right next to the beach. Fudge and ice cream are particularly good. Ice cream and fudge server Kate has just fantastic customer service. I recommend tipping her high.

Best coffee. They open later than I would expect but totally worth it.

food is good, everytime i go service is either really good or really bad but i still appreciate the business

Açaí bowls are very good and large. The fruit is fresh and tasty but I would skip the Apple juice next time.

Sep 2024, no more vegan ice cream or sorbet options. All ice cream here is from vanderwendes

They advertise funnel cake but don’t serve it !

Looking for a sweet treat shop with old tyme candies, fudge flavors galore, Vandewendes ice cream, and the quintessential beach town vibe? Don't want the "oh yea, THAT candy store" with three locations on the same street.

How about the "just a short walk off the boardwalk" down home style store front, locals running the shop spot called Three Blonde Bakers?

The fudge is great...all of it really. If you want good old fashioned, hand dipped scoops of ice cream, this is your spot. Vandewendes is proudly served, and they get some special flavors not generally found elsewhere (lemon anyone).

All the helpers work hard and are incredibly accommodating. Want a taste? Just ask.

I like candy/fudge/ice cream/etc. I don't mind big chain shops per se, it's just that I really like Three Blonde Bakers and why settle for an inferior experience when I can elevate my vacation indulgence?

Service was horrible and the fudge side wasn’t even busy! Ordered a LB of fudge (Snickers, Fluffernutter, and cookies and cream). Was given the wrong order. Asked twice if grabbed correctly and person swore they did. We didn’t have time to check since we had just ran in to buy due to no parking. We were given peanut butter and salted caramel. I hope whoever got our order enjoyed the ones I picked because they looked amazing.

My son claims the fudge tastes good so the food rating was from his perspective.
