Via Sophia by the Sea offers a pleasant dining experience with great service and a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. The dinner menu has improved and includes a variety of dishes, such as lobster bucatini, shrimp Campetelli, gnocchi, and salmon. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, but the sauce lacked flavor, while the salmon was served undercooked. The pasta can be swapped for gluten-free penne. Although bread was not served promptly, a busboy quickly rectified the situation. Olive oil and vinegar were provided, but the olive oil was plain. A complimentary dessert was given for a birthday celebration. The noise level was perfect, making it a nice spot for a meal.
