We hosted a local fundraiser volleyball tournament this past Saturday 7/19/25. It was an awesome day of volleyball, and we have tried to add fun things over the past few years such as food trucks, and even a dunk tank this year. 48 hours before the tournament, I called the owner, Danielle, in order to confirm what time she would be there. What followed was a very bizarre phone conversation, where she proceeds to tell me sheās been āback and forthā about whether or not she should still come, since there would be 2 other food trucks there. Now you see, Danielle agreed to come to our event on April 17th, and she was also well aware that Kona ice and Carlās gourmet Hots would be there. Clearly, AƧaĆ bowls are not in direct competition with shaved ice or hot dogs/sandwiches. We had especially wanted her aƧaĆ bowl truck because volleyball players LOVE acai bowls, which I tried hard to convey that to her while she was telling me she isnāt coming. Unfortunately, she did not care one bit that even though she had committed to come to this event (which we were also promised 10% donation from each food truck as this was a fundraiser for us). She then asked me āwell, have you ever even eaten at my shop?ā š Maāam what? Completely irrelevant as to why youāre literally cancelling less than 48hrs before our event. Which by the way, I have no idea whether she was even planning to call or if she just wasnāt going to show up?š¤ MANY players and parents were upset that the acai bowl truck was not in attendance, as it was advertised starting back in April when she committed. People were actually looking forward to a fresh healthier option, and were very disappointed. Danielle had no reason to cancel, gave no actual reason other than ānot wanting to compete with/take business away fromā the other 2 food trucks. Well, even the other 2 food trucks thought it was ridiculous that she would cancel, especially so last minute. Iām left with an awful taste in my mouth from this experience with Danielle at Bee Bowlād. Definitely think twice about supporting her āsmall local businessā that clearly doesnāt care about the commitments they make or disappointing hundreds of people at our non-profit event Saturday! If there were more stars available, Iād max them out! Top notch service. I didnāt realize you guys close at 12:30 and I was at the door at 12:47. And the owner was in the parking lot. Caught me, asked for which bowls I wanted and still managed to serve me. Thatās unheard of nowadays. Makes a lasting impact when a little inconvenience is nothing when it comes to taking care of a customer. Thank you again seriously. Really meant alot.

NEVER AGAIN! BODY SHAMING, HARASSMENT AND COMPLETE DISRESPECT! The chiropractor's wife is so insecure and or doesn't trust her husband so told a child "she shouldn't be wearing that" to see the Dr. Would you be ok with a Dr office talking to YOUR CHILD LIKE THAT?!?! SOMEONE NEEDS TO TELL HER HUSBAND SHES RUNNING AWAY REGULAR PATIENTS!

It was my first time visiting and it was the absolute cutest little cafe that I appreciated so much! The boho feel was very photogenic but the service was so helpful and so sweet ?? All of the bowls were gluten and dairy free and as someone with dietary restrictions I am sooo appreciative of that!! I am definitely coming back and I think if you havenāt been you should check it out!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten and Dairy free. If you donāt like or are allergic to a certain fruit you can ask to have it removed and they will make sure they give you more of another fruit already on the bowl!

I came here this morning on a whim in a search for a good cup of iced coffee and grabbed a bowl for me and my husband. This place is awesome!! The coffee was beautifully made and tasted amazing! The bowls were so refreshing and tasted so delicious! We are new to DE from the DC area and have been looking for gems and this is definitely one of them! I will be back tomorrow ?
