La Ortolana Pizza & Ristorante

Good pizza. Use Italian sausage and the sauce has a nice little kick. Chicken cheese steaks are very good as well

This was my first time visiting La Ortolana. I got everyday special. An extra large one topping pizza. It was terrific. I'll do it again.

I ordered a pizza for delivery and it came over a hour later, I called and told the workers about it and was told “come in and pick it up if you want it fresh” last time eating from here.

I believe it's under new ownership. This was my favorite place to get pizza, but since my last visit not sure if I'll be ordering from there any more. I order to large pizzas 1 extra cheese and 1 Pepperoni they were not as good as before then while waiting for order I added 2 Hippy rolls (sausage, onion and peppers) she reheated them in the microwave the were not edible went in the trash.
Customer service was okay but they really need to work on what the do and say to others when customers are present. Talking about being sick and going over to the walk when it wasn't busy, to people ( i think she was a worker not working that day)behind the counter in stretch boot shorts her cheeks hung out the bottom, and wedged up the crack.
Standards are a lot lower

Burning hot pasta
Sauce spilling out of the box when I got in the car and spilled all over my legs burning me leaving marks. Next time please take the time to close it properly! Thank you! At least I know it’s hot though?

I've been a customer for over 20 years at this point and have rarely had a bad meal. The pizza is fantastic, hot, and delicious with a perfect ratio of sauce to crust to cheese to toppings. I love their sauce and always order extra on the side. The wings are great and usually much larger than I've seen from other pizza shops. I'm a recent convert to the garlic parmesan flavor - definitely give it a try! I usually like super spicy buffalo wings, but it's been hard to go back after tasting these. I'd also say they have one of the better cheesesteaks in Dover.

My one complaint is that the salads are terrible... but I could say that for pretty much any local pizza joint. It's basically sub toppings in a container - super basic and they'd make a sad meal if that's all you ordered.

The restaurant itself is small and a bit noisy, but this is my go-to place for delivery. I don't live very far away from the Camden location, so the orders always come faster than promised and the drivers are always super nice. I'd highly recommend you give this a try if you haven't yet!

This restaurant deserves NO stars!! I decided to try it for the first time this evening. My husband ordered white clam sauce linguine. When he got home, 15.5 miles/25 min one way and I opened my dinner, it was with red clam sauce which I cannot tolerate. We called in, the person that took the order said she put in an order for white clam sauce so it was the kitchen mistake. She gave the phone to the manager who said all she could do was refund our money if we returned the food. When i told her that was ridiculous for the gas and travel time. She said that would be 2 dinners lost for them. Well what about the gas, time and customer. I asked for her name and she hung up on me. I called back to get her name. It is Alexis Hall. That's what I get for supporting small business instead of chains
