We hired That Kitchen Food truck to cater a last minute holiday event and it was delicious! They even made sure to include a special restricted dietary friendly dish for a few of our team members! Thanks Again! -Mugz
We had a ball last night and the food was even better than what we asked for. THAT Kitchen consulted us with menu suggestions for our event that we didn't even think of! An absolute gem! Customer service was also amazing specially when everyone is already busy with the holiday rush.
The owner is a doll! She was the sweetest taking time to answer all of my questions no matter how silly they seemed to me. That alone is worth more to me because there are companies and businesses that have poor etiquette and just want to get paid.

I very rarely feel the need to leave a review, but in this case I must. I will say my family and I have been to events where That Kitchen was one of the food trucks in attendance. For what is offered their prices are way over what they should be. In no way do the empanadas she offers warrant a price of $10. They are no bigger than empanadas sold elsewhere for half that price or less. My husband had the eggroll and ended up with grease dripping all over the place and that too does not warrant the $14 price. I have read through other reviews and I agree with them. Charging that much to feed kids frozen chicken tenders from a big box store? My son bit into a tender and knew right away it was a frozen tender. While we stood in line waiting to order you could see her employees getting items from white containers full of frozen egg rolls and empanadas on the stove by the fryers. So looks like all of the food coming off her truck is frozen food, which is a disgrace for what she charges. And trust me i know what it takes to run a food truck and 3 brick mortars, i serve NO frozen foods besides my ice cream.
You stated that people LOVE your food, are they aware its frozen when they decide to say they love it? And as for dropping your cakes off to "be frosted" another lie. You have someone make them for you from her home, You have been seen in a condo complex coming out wheeling a small cart from the womans condo with lots of cake boxes on it and she is well known for making cakes. We live in areas where everyone knows everyone including some of your ex employees.
So yes i will take your advice and continue to be a blessing to the 100's of people that come to my restaurants daily and to the many people down on their luck that we feed daily as well.
As for you truth and honesty should always be the best policy, I would never have my child or family come on here and give me 5stars to boost my review ratings like you had your daughter do.
****UPDATE****
So Gina decided to respond and lie some more, so now she admits she doesnt make the cakes herself but they are made from scratch, But if you look at the response to Martha she said she only dropped the cakes off to be frosted. But if you ask her when you are in line waiting for your food about the cakes she says "she makes them" Nothing I said was H.A.T.E, it is all truth. Just like how she buys big box store rotisserie chickens and plucks the meat off the bones and uses that to make her chicken empanadas. (The empanada shells are also the frozen store bought shells) Or how she drives to North Carolina to pick up the Carolina bbq she sells, because you guessed it she does not make that herself either. But she charges big money and boasts about food as if she makes it all from scratch herself.
I will continue to do what I do for customers and others because I do it with honesty and love. Again i do not feed my customers frozen or food cooked in other peoples homes or other states for that matter. So you have a Merry Christmas as well, and again try honesty and being upfront but most of all price your food accordingly.
So I will start by saying that I have attended quite a few events that this food truck has been at, so I know that Mrs Gina is the owner and also would know exactly who she is if I was to see her out at a store or anywhere else. Now with that being said:::
I was out shopping at one of the big box stores wont say the name of it, but lets just say its one that you need a membership for. I saw Mrs Gina over by the refridgerated foods, I wanted to walk over and say hi but noticed she was talking on her phone, so I stepped back to wait until she finished. I will say not that I was eavesdropping but Mrs Gina has a kind of loud way of speaking so you couldnt help but hear the conversation. She was talking about being there to buy food to cook on her food trucks, she then told the person she was buying several bags of chicken tenders to serve to children at an event she had to do at a school. Now last I saw and from speaking to Mrs Gina and people that have eaten off her food truck, she boasts about everything being homemade. She also spoke about getting a delivery of canned seafood for her egg rolls.. Canned seafood with the price she charges for those eggrolls, about $13 each.. I was appalled, she has everyone believing ALL of her food is fresh homemade. She also said something about having to have more hot dogs shipped in from Ferraros, I have family in Connecticut and they shop at that market so i recognized the name. Then before ending her call I heard her say before going home she had to stop and pick up the cakes from the woman that makes them for her, but she has everyone believing she makes the cakes herself. I did not even bother to go to her and say hello, I just walked away and vowed never to buy or support this food truck ever again. I was going to talk to her about an event, not after everything I heard. Charging so much for frozen store bought chicken tenders for kids? Canned seafood? And $13 each for an eggroll?
No one should be hiring this foodtruck for any events, its not what its made out to be.
That Kitchen committed to our non profit event and never showed up. Not even a phone call.
Bad business move.
Thanks to That Kitchen, our event, the Nanticoke River Jamboree in Vienna Md., was stranded without any food.
That Kitchen had confirmed twice the week leading up to our event that they would be there. They totally ghosted us, and never returned any of our desperate phone calls to find out what had happened. Worse, they had agreed to come if we canceled all other food vendors, which we did. So hundreds of people were left high and dry. It cost us over $400 to get hamburgers for all the exhibitors who were stranded. With what little money our non-profit makes on this event, this was a disaster.
It's unconscionable to fail to appear, and without any warning or communication, and cowardly not to return our calls and explain.
Quite honestly, there's no way after this incident that anyone can count on them. Best advice: keep shopping for another food truck.
While at The Kick off at White Horse Park in Ocean Pines today I ordered a Chicken Empanada and I have never in my life tasted something so delicious!!! Customer service was excellent. I am at home upset that I did not get one for later!!! (Or 2! lol) Glad I found the page and can be on the lookout where you will be in the future! I will definitely be back!
So, at the Wood Creek Pool Party on 8/26/2023. Most of the Homeowner's that purchased food from your truck founded your prices to be too high for such an local event. For example; $13.00 for one Hot Dog w/Fries is too high. Remember, you are in a residential community whereby Homeowner's could have just as well walked back home and cooked their own food. Your prices need to make sense. Moreover, your French Fries looked and tasted as if it was cooked in old cooking oil. Furthermore, please don't use Swai. Everyone knows Swai has a mediocre nutritional profile and is best be avoided. You would do best to cook with Flounder because it has very little bones.

Wow! we needed a caterer/food truck for a business event and Gina delivered ? She made the whole process easy and her food was unanimous adored. She even sent me home with some leftovers and wow olives in a chicken empanada? I've never had that and it is out of this world. Well done chef.. we hope to have you out again ?
Really a $13 egg roll with little to no meat! Do not get the sirloin egg roll. It’s a joke and waste of money.
