Went here for trivia night and it was pretty fun. Food was good and the mixed drink I got (I cannot recall the name) was pretty good. I had swishier beer and thought it was excellent. Servers were nice and prompt. Would recommend to anyone visiting or live in Dewey.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in a truly dog-friendly spot. We found a nice picnic table on the patio, and within minutes, our server came out with a fresh, cool bowl of water just for Buster. It was a thoughtful touch that showed they genuinely love having pups around. The beer selection is top-notch, with a variety of excellent IPAs and a few standout sours that were incredibly unique. I also tried the tuna tartare appetizer, and it was fresh and delicious 😋. The food menu has creative options that go beyond standard bar fare, which is a huge plus. The atmosphere is a relaxed, beachy vibe that's perfect for unwinding. With the garage doors open to let in the fresh air, it felt breezy and comfortable 🌊. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the beers, and even took a moment to give Buster some extra pets and praise 🥰. We've been searching for places where we can enjoy great food and drinks without leaving our furry family member at home. Dewey Beer Company completely delivered on all fronts. I love this place. The people, the beer, the atmosphere. Do I wish it was bigger? Yes. But let me just say the “Pizzetta” beer is genius. So great in fact that I crave it. The Pizzetta is dangerously close to being even better than Peroni (it’s very similar, just slightly different). Peroni is clearer, with an aftertaste that lingers. The “Taco Dealer” beer comes in second place; their Mexican style lager (not quite as good as Autumn Arch brewery’s Mexican beer, or a Dos Equis for that matter).
The Dewey Beer Co also has a second location in the Harbeson/Milton area which is very big. If this place is too packed or cramped in the summer - head there. No other brewery in Delaware has caught on to having their own amazing Italian style beer. It’s a very smart move from Dewey Beer Co. and will definitely keep the roof on this place steps from the beach for decades.
On top of that, the staff are so friendly. They really make you feel welcome no matter where you’re from, which sets this place well above the rest of the bars in town. If you’re ever in the Rehoboth and Dewey area and are in the mood for awesome local beer, this place is a must.
