The staff was very kind and the pizza would have had good flavor, except the dough was very raw. Definitely need to make sure they cook the pies more.

We just had a couple beers and a pizza on the bar side. Their pizza is some of the best I've ever had, and Nico as a bartender is awesome. We've been here several times. It's just chill.

Really nice owner. Great food and pizza. My 8 yr old says they have "the best fettuccine Alfredo on earth!". That's saying something since she gets it everywhere we go!Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere

? New Year's Adventure at Mama Maria's ?✨Ring in the New Year with a surprise at every turn! On a spontaneous drive to Baltimore, took a deviation and we stopped by Dewey Beach and stumbled upon the unassuming Mama Maria's. What seemed like a simple order-at-the-counter spot turned into so much more!Swipe left to step through the doors with us into a world of high ceilings, bright lights, and a cozy dining haven. Our waitress Teresa greeted us with warmth and a smile, guiding us veggie lovers through a menu bursting with options. We indulged in a veggie pizza loaded with onions, mushrooms, olives, peppers, and more – each bite better than the last! Pair that with classic mozzarella sticks and a glass of exquisite red wine, and you've got a meal to remember. But wait, there's more! Teresa's tip about the local ball drop meant we just had to extend our stay. Returning on the 31st, the closed restaurant led us to a hidden bar where Nico, the bartender with tales of India and Mother Teresa, served up life and laughter with our wine and snacks.Mama Maria's in Dewey Beach isn't just a restaurant; it's a heartwarming experience that turns visitors into storytellers. Highly recommended for its superb food, extreme hospitality, and absolute friendliness. A must-visit that's earned our five stars! ?????#DeweyBeachEats #MamaMarias #NewYearsEve #FoodieAdventure #VegetarianDelights #HiddenGems #RestaurantReviewVegetarian options: There is one pizza vegetarian (veggie) option, few sandwich options, lots of vegetarian appetizers.

I went here, and the two men working there were very strange people, as if they had just committed a murder of some sort. The food was mid, but the atmosphere was creepy and I felt as if I was placed right in the middle of a Supernatural episode. The experience was bad, it made me want to run into traffic.PS, the Alpaca is me after dining here.

The food is great! I have never had a bad meal there. They are also very dog friendly. There was plenty of room in their outside dining area for my dogs to lay down near the table.
Stumbled on Mama Maria’s in Dewey back on a birthday getaway in April. It was close to the hotel we were staying at and seemed like a good little local place since it was opened regular hours even in the off season. We received the best service from Nico and Hunter… We’ve returned a few times throughout the summer and each time we’re greeted with big smiles and a wave, a glass out and ready to pour a Peroni, and some of the best pizza.Glad to have found you, and we’ll be back soon!

The chicken piccata was disappointing, mediocre at best and the amount of chicken that came with it (pictured) was surprisingly small. The Caprese salad was pretty good. The service was fair (none of the appetizer or other plates were cleared during the meal). Overall, if you’re looking for decent Italian food conveniently located in Dewey beach, it’s not a bad option, but if you’re looking for good, wholesome Italian food, I would recommend exploring other options.

Trying to find somewhere that serves a great salad is hard. After reading the reviews for Mama Maria's we gave it a try. We asked the wonderful waitress if the antipasto salad was large enough to share. She replied,"yes" and did not disappoint. It was huge. We opted to have the salad out first. Not going to lie, we ate all of it. By the time the white pizza arrived we were both kind of full. Now there were some ingredients that got me off guard. For example: Giardiniera, picked vegetables. We really did not read all the ingredients listed for the antipasto, we just ordered it. To our surprise they added the perfect flavor to the salad. With a hint of picking from the vegetables it all blended to make a delicious salad. Our white pizza was hot and fresh. The crust had just enough crunch but tender enough to enjoy. They use fresh spinach not canned stuff. Unfortunately, we could not finish the pizza. However, it was just as good the next morning. Antipasto $20.95 Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, olives, marinated artichoke hearts, giardiniera, Genoa salami, capicola, ham, shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoncini, served with house Italian vinaigrette. White Pizza $30.00 Mozzarella, garlic, fresh tomatoes, your choice of broccoli or spinach. The meal was expensive. With that being sad, we do not mind paying if the food is worth the price.

Get ready to get gouged. First of all the food is average at best. I personally work at a pizzeria In an affluent area and have to say the prices are double here. I ordered pasta with marinara and a chicken parm sub . $40. If it were some high end restaurant I might go along with it but far from it. The sauce was ok along with the pasta. The bread was not fresh and the chicken parm was nothing special. When I asked the guy how much the pasta with marinara was he said $22 and gigged. Well you might Of got me this time but will try other places.
