Cat was the most accommodating bartender of all time! We were looking for some non-alcoholic options, and she provided some amazing recommendations and delivered some delicious drinks. Thank you for helping us have a great time?

What an amazing spot. Jimmy, Heather and Cat are the best bar staff in all the land. Top notch entertainment with Matty Q and JTT. And, if you're hungry, you need to try the drunken noodles. Can't wait to make it back.

Nalu Dewey Beach is one of our “must go to”places whenever we are in the area. The food is spectacular and so different than normal restaurant fare in the area. We love the pineapple wrapped bacon and the pork nachos are to die for. They have great entertainment and the place is hopping! Last but not least are the super bartenders, best in the area, especially Jimmy and Heather. Did I mention all the fantastic drinks they make, including the best espresso martini? Don’t miss Jimmy and Heather singing on occasion! Great vibes and a ton of fun!

Bait and switch on the fries. The "best fries ever" that have been pictured in multiple photos were not at all what we received. We got your basic run of the mill seasoned crinkle cut frozen fries. Also, one of the worst crab cakes I've ever eaten. It was dry, small crab cake, huge bun and had one tiny squirt of some kinda orange sauce. Twenty packs of ketchup (literally at least 15 packs...EXCESSIVE), but no tartar sauce, cocktail, Mayo? Even the kids grilled cheese was sad. The bread was too big my kid couldn't even fit it in his mouth nor was the cheese melted. We both took a few bites and threw it away. $26 down the drain on bad food. This was a pick up order so I'm adding a star for running late to pick it up and for the sake of it being partially my fault for not checking the condiments before I left. Better quality food products would help, especially at the high prices they're charging. Maybe their "authentic" Hawaiian food is better. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since they're at least trying to be creative.

I'm was nervous it was too kitschy to have good good, but I was very mistaken! The crab cake sandwich had very good flavor. The all-american smash burger was extremely tasty. We didn't order the nachos but they looked HUGE.Very dog-friendly. Awesome service. I actually went twice this trip and it was amazing both times.

Nalu Hawaiian Surf Bar and Grille was excellent! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with pretty Hawaiian decor. The menu is kind of different from a typical seafood restaurant. I had coconut shrimp tacos, and my husband had rockfish kebabs. They were both delicious! We also had a hearty sausage and ham soup. The service was very quick and friendly. Just a note: the parking area is very small. I’m guessing most people walk to Nalu from the nearby hotels.

Dined in yesterday for lunch and the service was amazing. Skylar was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. She recommended the shrimp pad Thai and I was not disappointed-it was delicious. The restaurant has such a great ambiance and Skylar is a gem-we will definitely be back!

Ordered to-go and food came out pretty fast for a busy Saturday night, I had the Big Kahuna Burger and fries. Very tasty and the fries were unexpectedly delicious compared to the average fry you'll get at any other bar.

Sticky tabes, sticky menus and the outdoor area was overrun with gnats. Our server had to check with someone every time we asked a question. The food was decent, but not worth going back

Was really excited when I walked in here benders the space is beautiful and they have great outdoor seating, but that's where my excitement stopped. We were seated outside sound 5:30pm and it took awhile for our server to get to our table despite seeing 10+ servers on the floor. We asked for a high chair at the host stand but none came, and when I finally did get one it was beyond sticky and gross, so I decided to just keep my daughter in her stroller. We ordered the spicy salmon poke bowl, chicken tenders, fried popcorn shrimp, pork quesadilla, and chicken skewers. The poke bowl was outdoor tasteless, and the vegetables and everything else in it was warm. I was hesitant to even eat the bowl but I was starving and didn't have the energyThe popcorn shrimp was inedible; it was literally hard as a rock and you could have fried anything to that level and it would have all tasted the same. The quesadilla, much like the poke bowl, was flavorless. I don't know how this is possible because it was smothered in sauce but we both could not even decipher was flavor it was.The only saving grace was the skewers.I was very disappointed as this was our first meal out on vacation and wanted it to be delicious after a long day, but it was forgettable and disappointing.Save your money and go somewhere else!

I'm a fan of the corn dip with crab! Had it twice during my vacation. Also enjoyed the rock fish tacos though very flavorful were a bit soupy making them very difficult to eat. The taco fell apart and had to be eaten with a fork.
