nice outdoor area but weird vibes from the indoor area, good live music, and the shots are pretty good BUT they added 20% to all my transactions for fun and then double charged me ?

Great food, live music, and atmosphere are the best. It's a great place to see sunset

Great vibe and service but if I'm going to be honest the food leaves much to be desired for a fresh seafood experience. It's very expensive as well. My advice is to get a drink and an appetizer since they are massive and leave it at that. Paid $70 per person for a upset stomach

Never ate there. Always go on a Thursday night to see Love Seed Mama Jump. So fun!!! Great service. We came 3hrs away just to see them. Stay at hotel Dewey and you can walk there!

Just not what it used to be. Quite expensive, poor service, poor management and the 2.5% “convenience” fee to use a card is absolutely ridiculous. Be aware that the menu prices are for “cash only”.
I watched a server give a beer to the wrong table, and after that patron touched the wrong beer the server took it back and gave it to the correct table. ALL WHILE THE MANAGER WATCHED! She shook her head but didn’t do or say anything about it.
Oh and the crab dip did not come with enough naan bread, asked for some more and were charged for the request. Serve it with the correct amount the first time.
Again, poor service and worse management. Not what it used to be. We won’t be back and that’s a shame.
Be warned….

Rusty Rudders is definitely THE spot to go to for nightlife in Dewey! This is my second year in a row coming here, and it never disappoints. The music is amazing, with two dance floors—live music outside and a DJ inside. The drinks are good, and the vibes are incredible. Huge shoutout to DJ Knappy for absolutely killing it! This place gets busy, but it’s definitely worth the $10 cover at night. If you’re looking for a great night out in Dewey, Rusty Rudders is the place to be!

The view is the star here. Average to good food is available, I had a decent crab cake sandwich, and service was efficient but overwhelmed by the large Saturday lunch crowd.

My family of 4 visited Rusty Rudder this past weekend and had the BEST service I have ever had at a restaurant. Our waitress' name was Tish, and she is an angel on earth I am convinced. She had a radiant joy & very close attention to detail. Our drinks were never empty, she apologized for wait times that were not her fault, and she was so personable. Outside of the great food, the service is even better.

Good food and drinks. The live music was nice, and they seem to have a great bar scene. You can't beat having a drink here at sunset. The view was amazing.

It was busy and we were told a 40 min wait. We were seated after 10 min! It was a much longer wait for our meals, but it could of just been super busy. It's still worth a try.

One of the worst dining experiences ive had in a loooong time. The rusty rudder used to be a great place to take your family and enjoy the beach but things have seemed to fall downhill. I came here as a kid and my experience 20 years ago did not translate to my current experience at all . I decided to take my wife for dinner. Table seating was closed around 9 and nobody sat us. We ended up going to the bar where none of the staff would respond to us, and when they did it was unprofessional often walking away to look at his phone or ignore us on multiple occasions. Cant remember his name but hat backwards with a mustache he looked like a chad and behaved like one too. Never met a bartender so detached from the profession. If you're looking to take your family here, try and come around 6 but dont expect great service
