Went for a concert. It was very difficult to get drinks at the bar. One of the bartenders was clearly only interested in serving people he knew and when you could finally get drinks from him, they were terrible. We observed several other people getting frustrated and leaving the show early because of the poor service. Disappointing.

Fun place for drinks and music with excellent views of the bay. I attended New Year's Eve event which was super fun. I'd pass on the food though.

Great place to have a adult beverage and watch a local band. On or off season.

Was there for a music festival brunch, the food was very good, but there was no real service. The seating for the concert was very tight and seats were extremely uncomfortable. But it had very good acoustics, enhancing the atmosphere.

Views were fantastic and atmosphere was great. We went to see a band, great venue for that as you have water views no matter where you sit. The food wasn't great, didn't taste fresh. They didn't have a large beer selection and beers were $7.50 a pop. Mixed drinks weren't any better. The bar staff wasn't very friendly either, they engaged with you as if it was an inconvenience for them. They weren't engaged at all, "just here to sling beers" the one guy told me. On the other hand the table staff was very professional and accommodating. They have a good band lineup so definitely go to see a band, but don't take friends from out of town for dinner, better options in Dewey.

You know it is bad when the bartender didn't recommend anything on the menu and doesn't eat here. ? 15 bucks for 2 beers, no thanks. The property itself is awesome and perfect view. This place was nice back I. The day. Not anymore.

Came for dinner and stayed after for live music Food was fine, but changes drasticly after 9pm. Staff is mixed, but leans towards unfriendly and unapologetic. Drinks were weak (at the table or the bar later) and cover is $10 after 9pm on weekends - do not step a foot off the property (to grab something from the car or for a smoke) or expect to be charged another cover CASH ONLY. Lots of bouncers everywhere itching to toss you out. Also vomit all over the bathroom before 10pm left to sit all night, really? Maybe focus on those people.Fees:2.5% credit card transaction fee, every transaction$3/hr parking, $36 max/lost ticket$10 cover (free before 9pm but don't leave for any reason)Parking: $3/hr, $36 max

Great Atmosphere - Service was ok. Apps were not good, chips were stale, guacamole was frozen crushed avocados with nothing in it.Our Main Meal was tasty. Great to drink & hang out but not so much for snacking.

Google says the Rusty Rudder is open. Walked around like the sign said and there were two people behind the bar. They looked at us and we said “Hi” but the guy closest just looked away. We walked in to look for staff to be seated because all the doors and windows were open. Bar staff watched us do that and said nothing. We walked back down and asked the male bartender if it was open and he said with an obvious attitude “no” without even looking at us. When we walked up he could’ve just said it was closed, not hard to be courteous. We won’t bother coming back.

Go for the view/atmosphere. Food is okay and overpriced. I had 3 crab cakes this weekend and this was by far the worst and most expensive. My friend's steak was also not great. My husband got the fish and chips which is hard to ruin so it was good. His first grapefruit crush may have been missing an ingredient, but the second one was good.I will say the fried green beans were AMAZING. Tip: Get extra of the dipping sauce to make the mediocre fries way better when you get your meal.

I used to visit Rusty Rudder 20-25 years ago when I was younger and hanging out with my single friends. I decided—since school's back in session and our son is away at college, we'd drive down to our local beach towns and hang out. I was reminiscing about a couple of places that used to be the old stomping ground, so to speak. My husband wanted to try checking out some live music, so I suggested we go to Rusty Rudder. We happened to catch two different artists back to back who were performing on a Sunday evening. This gave me a chance to look at Rusty Rudder from a new perspective since I have different things going on in my life now. I felt there was a good vibe for off-season and on a Sunday, when I wasn't looking for anything too excitable. We both wanted to kick back with drinks and music after being on the beach all day.First, accessibility: there is a ramp leading you to the outdoor seating or their general bar area, and thank goodness for it. I noticed a few individuals who had to use it coming in or leaving. Their bathrooms were behind what would be considered the stage or performance area where there's a secondary bar. It's a bit of a narrow space to get into. I don't know how someone would navigate it if they had a walker or wheelchair. I will say they were clean, though! They'll allow you to bring your dog out to the outside deck there as long as they do well in public. That's a plus! When you're sitting there, it's a great view of the water and the boats going by. It started to rain after we showed up, but we were seated under the covered deck. The young ladies—who were the hostesses, and the gentleman who was our waiter, were both friendly and accommodating. It's still a good spot for drinks and entertainment!
