My kids love sandy point. Any donut shop where they can pick toppings is a win in their books. Staff is super friendly and it located super conveniently in the side of a gas station .

This is a hidden treasure! GLUTEN FREE and nut free donuts!! Yummy!! The BEST Açaí bowls I have tasted because they are NOT too sweet. I could really taste the Açaí and the fruit toppings. I'm back in the DMV and what I miss about the beach is this Açaí bowl. I wish I had asked for light honey, because I don't do sugar regularly adding the honey was a little too sweet. It was perfect on its own, maybe just a little drizzle. The donuts were hot and moist. My favorite was the maple bacon, then sprinkles, coconut, blueberry, and the cinnamon and chocolate chip were okay. I wish I had tried the powder sugar instead of the cinnamon.

Fast service! Hot donuts that are fresh and made to order! Good base with all sorts of toppings to choose from. One less star because they got one of the donuts wrong on our order, otherwise a great beach treat.

This is the place to go if you like. Hot cake style donuts. They have so many flavors to choose from when it comes to glazes or toppings. Our donuts always came hot and freshly made. The service here is great. I would say if you're going to order more than a few, give them a little time to prepare. All the donuts are extremely fresh.

I was only there once, and got a coffee (Rise Up Roasters brand) and an acai bowl. The coffee was really good. I had it with almond milk, and the acai bowl was flavourful, refreshing, and filling. The gentleman who took my order was very attentive and personable. The young lady who made my bowl pleasant. I didn't get any, but they bake an amazing variety of donuts! I highly recommend it!
It is really hard to be vegan at the beach. Imagine my delight when the staff at Sandy Pony Donuts said it was no problem to do an iced coffee with almond milk! They added the milk to it and got the ratio just right. [Unlike a national chain that hands you a full cup that has tons of ice with hot coffee poured over it and no room for milk, even though you asked twice.] Sure, there's only a picnic table in the parking lot if you want to sit. But if you are doing your morning stroll, window-shopping, this is perfect!

Came here to go walk around the boardwalk but one of our friends were craving donuts. We stopped by and was there a line. You always know it's good when there's a line. I am not a huge fan of donuts, but man, these were good. They look super dense and I don't like dense donuts, so I took a bite thinking it was going to be a very heavy oily donut. Nope, pleasantly surprised with a very fluffy inside and a nice soft texture with just the right amount of sweetness from the outer toppings. We orders every flavor, and not a single one was a bad choice. I'm not a fan of coconut and the coconut topping donut was still good! Will be back again for donuts.

Delish fresh donuts warm off the fryer! The donuts are an absolute must we tried the party pony and cookies and cream. The donuts are dipped in glaze to serve. They are totally gooey and absolutely crisp.
