I've had a lot of shrimp and grits in a lot of places. This was the best I've ever had. The cream sauce made the dish. The shrimp was fresh and the andouille was nice and spicy.

Ordered steamed crabs on 8/9. They sold me a dozen light crabs instead of regular crabs… and they were mushy. Never order crabs at a watering hole. Will never be back.

Sat on the second floor patio and the sunset views of the strip did not disappoint! Everything was fabulous, from the calamari to the coffee rubbed skirt steak. Star of the show was the crab dip, which went too fast to take a photo of!

We came in excited to enjoy some coastal favorites and ordered the crab dip, Maryland crab, white wine mussels, crab fries, and grilled chicken for the kids. Unfortunately, most of the experience fell short—except for one pleasant surprise.
The grilled chicken for my 2-year-old was the best part of the meal. It was flavorful, well-cooked, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything else, though, missed the mark.
The crab dip, mussels, and crab fries felt like a heavy blend of sour cream and cheese with no seasoning or balance. The mussels in white wine lacked depth and were surprisingly bland—disappointing for someone who genuinely enjoys mussels. The crab fries were underwhelming, with the crab feeling more like a garnish than a main feature.
The price was steep for what was served. I’d like to think maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but after trying several items, I can’t justify a return visit.

Well i finally made it to the wonderful highly rated Starboard Claw for happy hour. The hype is very true and a beautiful place was only the start. Ive had dinner there before and it was delicious. We had the steak, pasta seafood, and a deli burger. Myself and several friends went for happy hour. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The manager was fantastic and even though he is my son he treats everyone special. We had great appetizers and drinks. The food was fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. I dont go to Dewey that often but now I will be going alot more. If your looking for atmosphere delicious family friendly fun place you have got to try it.
