The Lighthouse Dewey Beach

Kristina is the best waitress ever' including our daughter!! We have had her a couple of times and each time she has been friendly, efficient, and a dog lover!! She not only caters to us humans but also to our four legged fur babies!! She is the best!! The food is also yummy! Had a doggie plate for McLuvin which he gobbled down. Had wings, clams, and brussel sprouts, all were phenomenal! The dirty martini was also the bomb!!

Ordered takeout here on a busy night. They were able to get my order ready within 20 mins. Waiting around wasn’t bad because it’s situated right on the water so you get a great view.

Food was not bad, it’s your typical bar food. Liked the shirracha wings with ranch sauce. If you can handle spicy, get those. Tried both the spicy tuna tacos and the flank steak ones. Skip the flank ones as it’s dry and go for the spicy tuna tacos.

Make sure you ask for utensils because mine never came with any. Thankfully I was staying at the hotel so I just grabbed some from reception. I wish they gave condiments because I asked for fries with one of my tacos and they tasted bland. I had to dip them in the sauce that came with my wings.

Overall, it’s a decent place to come to if you’re too lazy to head out to Rehoboth.

I can't express enough how amazing The Lighthouse is! The food, drinks, and staff are all phenomenal!

Walked in with our 4 legged friends and was immediately greeted with hospitality by our server Kristina and the rest of the staff! Our dog was given so many treats, and they even have a DOG MENU! The Lighthouse will now become a normal stop when we travel down to Dewey.

Went here for a local Chamber Of Commerce event. The drinks and appetizers were excellent. I love coming here in the off season since you do not have to worry about parking. The view is one of the best waterfront views in the area.

The only good thing about this place was the view. Cons: several of our drinks and dishes were never placed. Waitress seemed off her game. Would ask where our orders were and she would sheepishly look at her notepad and then walk away. I get once or twice but this happened 6 times. The food was not stellar and the drinks we did finally get tasted like straight rubbing alcohol. Prices are high for the quality of food, but guess it's for the views.

The food was good and the service was even better - thanks Yvonne! The music was a bit loud so we opted to sit outside and it was a bit breezy. But overall very good experience.
