Went to Woody's for crabcakes for the first time on a very busy night. Service and food were great after a short wait. We sat on outside deck with our dog and server even noticed that we had forgotten to bring water. Plan to eat here again on our next trip to Dewey!

One of the must do whenever we come to the east coast is to eat crabcakes. Woody's delivered! The crab burger was worth the price( going market rate). The hubby had a cheese steak, which he enjoyed as well. The chips were not too appetizing, but since the crab burger was so large, who had room for anything else. Wait staff was decent. Would have liked to have been asked about beverage refills, but the place was packed.
Parking: Very limited. We found a parking lot and walked several blocks.

Started off with no server coming to our table for 10 minutes so I asked the hostess to find our waitress. Megan swooped in with a smile and a genuine apology, completely disarmed us and set the tone back to a happy lunch experience. Of course everyone knows Woody’s crabcakes are awesome and I wanted to try something different. Ordered the gazpacho which was refreshing and tasty (would have liked some heat but the amount of diced veggies was a welcome treat.) Also got the crabby tots. OMG they were to die for. So rich and delectable. Margaritas not to shabby. What a gem in Dewey

Crab cakes are amongst the best I've had. Little loud but if going with a group it's cool. Not a romantic spot.. good food.. good time.
For starters we drove 54 minutes to get there. Which wasn't a problem because we frequently visit the area. The service was fast and friendly and our food was served in a timely manner. We ordered the crab cake platter which turned out to be horrible! The crab meat tasted as if it had been frozen or from another country. We also ordered green beans . Had it been listed on the menu that they were cooked Aldente, we would have thought twice about ordering . As I said earlier we don't mind traveling to get a good meal , but after this we will not take another chance to for foreign Crabmeat !

I have been enjoying crab cakes for 60 years . Either out or making them myself. Owned a restaurant for 15 years. I thought I would try their crab cakes. Got carryout. It is a shame when you have the finest ingredients and mess it up. Our crab cakes were burnt black on the top and bottom. The crab lumps were actually crunchy . What a shame. Had it been cooked right would have been good . Maybe it’s me but I hate that burned black taste. Being from Maryland , Crab cakes are not meant to be that.
