I love this place so much! My family just recently started getting birthday cakes from here and we are never going back. We usually get the strawberry crunch cake and it is genuinely the best thing ever. Anyone who needs a cake for a special occasion should definitely look here first.

I do not like leaving bad reviews as I too work in the customer service industry and know how trying it can be espically this time a year, but on Friday 12/19 I visited to get desserts for a lunch I was going to. When I walk in the women with the short blonde curly hair greeting me in the rudest way and tone asking what did I want. I let it go thinking ok maybe it was a one off. There was only one other customer in the store and as I looked she starred and rushed me as I was holding up a line. When I asked if she had anymore peanut butter cake the women stated no but maybe if I came back in hour or two. This was not an option and I understand my fault for waiting last minute . The worker let me know she had 6 single slices and I could mix with other flavors to make a cake. When I asked her how many I would need to order to make the cake she huffed and puffed like I was annoying her asking the amount of slices I would need to pick in addition . There was another women working who witnessed this encounter and keep looking at me wide eyed knowing how rude this other worker was treating me ( who I feel is the owner by the way ). I proceeded to order my slices and she stood there and starred at me like I was crazy. I stopped telling her my flavors after 3 thinking she would grab the ones I told her already this way not to confuse her. The women then continued to speak rude and condescending asking well what else . I apologize as if I did something wrong ( which I didn’t ) stating I was giving her a second to grab the flavors I stated already She once again huffed and puffed and just wanted all the flavors . Needless to say when I got to the event the flavors she gave me were 50% wrong. Once again as the other worker continuing to fill the cases continued to look at me in disbelief. Once she boxed the slices she walked right to the register yelling anything thing else. I intended on buying several other items but at this point I am now annoyed . I paid for the 8 slices I told her I wanted .( which when once again when I opened the box there were 7 and some were then flavors i ordered and some I didn't When I finished my transaction . I calmly said to her that I am someone who works and has worked in management for years and they way she spoke to me was rude and not appropriate. Her response to me was to yell WOW and tell me bye bye . I am absolute disbelief by the level of disrespect i received and when I let her know how she made me feel her continued ignorance. As I walked out all she could repeat was Bye bye Bye Bye. Needless to say I will never step food in that establishment and will let my friends and family know how they treat customers . When I left I went to another local bakery where I was treated with kindness and respect . So you lost my business and what would have been a lot larger sale .

This place is an absolute must to visit if you are ever hungry for breakfast or lunch. There is great German music here, the staff are very patient and friendly, and the food is very delicious. I wasn't able to ask much about German culture, but I understand that work hours aren't really the appropriate place to do that. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely visit for more food.
Great baked goods. You won't be sorry if you stop by for a treat.
