This week, they provided a great birthday cake on super short notice. They asked great questions and made excellent recommendations in helping us order something that turned out really great. For the past couple years I've stopped there for pastries or desserts every time I've been in the area. On a whim, I ordered a couple selections from the variety of fresh baked bread they sell, and I'm really glad one of them was the Bavarian Rye. Best bakery I've ever been to.

Food is good but the workers are quite off putting. It almost felt like I was a nuisance to them by daring to step foot in the door. They didn't say anything in particular but the attitude was poor. Besides, I'm fed up with businesses adding a surcharge to the bill, (I mean asking for tips). I am making mental notes of businesses with tip request and not returning. I'm tired of it.

Normally this is our five star stop. But the service provided by the male at the pastry counter today was horrible. Of all the days to come in with attitude, he chose valentine's day. I gave him two stars, but it should have been one. You're pastries are fantastic!
