Nice restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Service was fine but a little slow as I believe they are shorthanded, like most restaurants and diners. Food is generally always good and reasonable.

I am still waiting for my food as I write this review. Me and my boyfriend ordered pot roast (he said he always gets it so I thought I’d try). It has been a while however, Chris was very polite in taking our order and while we wait, we were asked by a couple of employees if we have been helped. Also, a couple of them checked on our food. Although we are starving they still made this a good experience and worth the wait. We will continue to visit :) hurry out now lol

Let me say this about the Bob Evans experience the food was prepared well and seasoned nicely. We all enjoyed what we ate. The restaurant was out of french fries and home fries. We substituted onion rings (with an upcharge that was later removed). Once we were half done with our food one of the waitresses popped out from the kitchen and said "86 the bacon".....I looked at my turkey sandwich with bacon and made sure it was aligned properly since there could not be replacement pieces. I have worked in supply chain my entire career so I understand issues with ordering and load quality, but this was mildly comical for a restaurant on a Monday early afternoon being out of core items on the menu. "86 THE BACON"!!! Great memory Bob and I mean that.

I recently ordered the slow roast Turkey dinner from this establishment and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, I ordered 12 rolls to go with my meal. However, after a 10 minute wait, I was informed that they had run out of rolls. I had no choice but to accept biscuits instead. Another 10 minutes passed and once again, I was told that they were out of biscuits as well. I ended up having to settle for banana bread instead of rolls.
After a total of about 30 minutes of waiting, I finally received my order. However, the service was chaotic and disorganized. A young man handed me my bags and then proceeded to tell me to hold on. The assistant manager and another employee then started swapping items in and out of my bags, leaving me feeling confused and frustrated.
Overall, the whole experience was a letdown. The food was subpar and the service was disorganized. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Went for breakfast. There was only a handful of other customers. I was seated for 11 minutes and still did not have even a glass of water let alone a server to take my order. I got up and walked out. I also noted that there were 5 people in the service area. I am sure that at least one of them had to stay to work the register and serve the counter customers(there were none). There were still 4 other workers...and only a few more customers than that. This is not the first time that the North Dover BE has faltered. Very discouraged b/c I like some of their homestyle items.
