To the Owner,

I did in fact leave 1 star and frankly, if I could give zero I would. I order the 5 inch often like I told you over the phone and never had this happen before. It was missing a significant amount of meat, certainly not the four pieces it's supposed to come with .  Regardless of whether it was the manager, or the owner, mistakes happen, and clearly one did here. What's even more concerning is the dismissive and passive-aggressive response I received. As the owner, I'm sure you've seen similar complaints in your reviews, which should be a clear indicator that this is not an isolated issue.
Professionalism and customer service are lacking, and the way I was spoken to was rude. I hope you take this as an opportunity to address both the quality control and the attitude with which your customers are treated.

The sub on the platters are now 2”…. I remember 4” so now we still pay $8 for a 2” sub, they really should tell you they are 2”, plus scanty on the meat…. never getting a tray from here again!

Cheesesteak was real chewy every mouthful you had to spit out a piece. You couldn't chew cheap ingredients $20.75 into the trash at one time capriotti's used to be really good not anymore.

On March 1st 2025 I ordered three subs. There was a 9$ fee to order delivery before TIP. Food arrived leaking grease from the wrapper. I opened it to find my sub loaded up with rubber, mostly fat, uncooked bacon. The bread was so mushy I couldn’t hold the sub. No tomatoes or lettuce. Just the most nasty looking chicken. I paid $50 for three 8” subs that were inedible, and completely gross. Go to Jersey Mikes or anywhere else. This was a waste of money.

I have been purchasing suvs/steak sandwiches from Capriotti’s for decades. Have had your subs/steak sandwiches from numerous Capriotti’s shops. This is the absolutely worst cheesesteak sandwich I have purchased. It had grizzle, the taste did not even taste like a normal cheesesteak. I am very disappointed and will not return. There are plenty of other cheesesteak sandwich shops all over Dover, so as far as I’m concerned…..you just lost a customer. I expect more from a shop if your caliber.

Way more expensive than I thought, but the sandwiches are pretty large and not too bad

I have ordered from this location for several years. This review isn’t so much about the food as it is about customer service and their “rewards”. This once again happened yesterday and I doubt I will be back. I had a $10 discount and when I called to place the order I told the girl I had a code from the app for $10 off but it was only good for 15 min. She said just give it to me when you get here.( She said the order wouldn’t be ready for 10-15 min) when we got there and waited to be checked out the code had expired and she wouldn’t honor it! Well it wasn’t expired when I called and tried to give it to you! The order was $75 so not like I just had a sandwich… very disappointing! If you don’t honor the rewards then don’t offer them!
