Not much an atmosphere, because it's not really a sit down restaurant, though. They have a couple of tables off to the side that it seems mustache.Children use.
However, if you were to describe the atmosphere in more artistic terms, I would give it a tilt of the hat to the design of most new york Downtown chinese shops with the pictures of everything, encircling the register and being able to see the back room where everybody's cooking for the most part.
So this is more of a new york style takeout chinese place.
As for the food, the egg Rolls were pretty tasty and a good size, Especially compared to the restaurant we tried last week.
I had their chinese lo mein and Roast pork fried rice combo. The rice was very average with the really. Teeny, tiny chunks of pork as is common amongst these kind of places.
The noodles were cooked fine and there was terrific wok hey. ( Wok hey is that smoky Delicious flavor you get from cooking in a high heat wok.)
The lady behind the counter.Super energetic and sweet.

They gave pretty good portion sizes. The menu is big, the service is fast, and the food is tasty. Would come back whenever I’m in town.

Went for the first time today and can confidently say I won't be going back. Ordered the orange chicken combo with pork fried rice and an order of crab Rangoon. The chicken was extremely dry and had a miniscule amount of sauce. It tasted like the leftovers from lunch or the day before. The crab Rangoon was ok but had very little crab at all and was overly sweet. The fried rice had a weird after taste like it had been fried in old/used oil from something else. The only redeeming quality is that the staff was nice but overall I would not recommend.

We’ve been ordering from here for years. I promise you when I tell you, it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had and that’s all over the East Coast I’ve never had a bad meal or unpleasant visit. We love this place so much we don’t order from anywhere else. Consistently great service and that what we value most when we don’t feel like cooking ourselves. I can’t tell you how many times China House has come in clutch after dragging the family around to all of our sporting events, Kate into the evening. I literally look forward to it. We just ordered dinner for a movie night tonight and we all tried different things and every time we try something different we are always pleasantly surprised. Jade Garden is literally three minutes from my house and I’d choose the 10 minute drive to China House every single time. For Chinese food this will always be my one and only recommendation.

My first time trying this restaurant, I ordered a combo dish - Honey Chicken. It was delicious! Came with a fat, yummy egg roll and fried rice. I also ordered crab ragoons, everything was really good. I'll definitely order here again.

Went there for the 1st time today 8/13/3023. Ordered shrimp fried rice and boneless ribs. Shrimp fried rice was good ( has peas, carrots, onion). Boneless ribs- not so good. Tough/hard, grisly and not very tasty. Lots of juice in the container, but not a lot of flavor. Could only eat a few pieces, had to throw the rest out.
