This is my absolute #1 comfort spot!! Shima is an absolute joy and does a wonderful job of running this business! When Nora is able to come in, she is wonderful as well. The food is always delicious and it's the only place where I never feel rushed or unwanted. I tell people it's like sitting in your grandma's kitchen.
This tiny hidden gem 💎 that you would never know was as incredible as it is if you didn't make an effort to seek it out. I always attempt to find local coffee ☕️ shops when I am in a new town and got some time to spare. Boy am I glad I did this past Friday! I could have went to DD right across the street (literally across the st) from a local tattoo shop I was visiting while my son was getting his first tattoo. I had a few to choose from but randomly choose here, again...
Great food! Wife is picky and felt there was a little too much spice on her homefries, yet she ate most of them. I ordered the Belgian waffle, with strawberries and whipped cream, and 2 sausage links. I am proud to claim the clean plate club award. It was absolutely delicious. If I am ever in Dover, DE again or am just passing through, I would stop in again.
