I attended on a Friday evening when they had a live band. There were four bartenders working, and it took 20-30 minutes to get a drink each time. I got double drinks because of the bad service.Management needs to do better and help out in these situations. I would suggest at least six bartenders when there is a live performance. This was my first time there, so I do not know what this is like on a regular night. I just know they did not make a good first impression, and I ended up leaving before the band finished.p.s. There were no finger foods.Parking: The casino has lots of parking, and because there was a live band, parking was not as quick to find nearest the entrance.

Nice casino in general. I am assuming this one came from Atlantic City. Came here for the 1st time and walked through the entire place. A nice slot selection. A small high roller room, but it's definitely worth dropping a few dollars in the HR room. The tables are really good. And they seem to be pretty generous as I played. But do not think you are going to break the bank. Take your winnings and run. Definitely I will be back

I'm giving this place 1 star because at least it was clean. From closing down a full table at 1:30am, to false advertising. This place looks great if you look at the website images. The pool looks amazing and it has amenities like a day spa. Totally different story when you arrive, from the pool being close now and looking nothing like the image, to the spa being closed down for months. Even the front at the building list all these nice things, but I guess false advertising doesn't exist in Dover DE. One can only hope a real casino operator with an actual budget will come in and take this place over soon. Definitely a case of ham, with no burger and jelly with no jam going in here.

The husband and I took an impromptu trip to Dover for an overnight trip to commemorate Resurrection Day and to cap off his off from work spring break week. This casino was a first for us, as we usually travel to Western MD where we he enjoys the casino and I the spa! While the spa was closed, I found a good time in the Royal Prime restaurant bar. I met a new friend whom felt like an old one, as we had so much in common. We laughed, ordered apps to share and I turned her on to my favorite! You guessed it, Appletini! The crab fritters and chips and dip were extremely good as were our drinks! The right amount of pucker to vodka ratio. The bartenders Jared (sp) and Travis were also very good! They laughed at how I and my new friend meshed for having just met one another. Our room was awesome, clean, and comfortable. Although I didn't visit the casino, my husband indicated it was nice and he played and well won back what he played. Lucky for him, he had a ride home!

My family & I visited Bally's Dover Casino Resort last weekend. We were not impressed at all. We used to visit frequently when it was known as Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. The service has gone down tremendously. All amenities are gone. There is no complimentary valet parking, room service or late night food. Bally's is too big of an enterprise to allow such conditions. I would've thought they held themselves to a higher standard than what we experienced. It was much better before the switch. Being bought by a bigger entity surely isn't better. It's the usual cutting corners for a larger profit and we as customers can tell. I'd give it zero stars if I could. We won't be back but I doubt big box Bally's will care

Enjoyed going there, but what happened to me, with their electronic roulette I won't set a foot there again. Departed from my money because their roulette didn't functioned properly. Called the magament over, to solve the issue, but they didn't want to know. so bye Ballys Dover.

No dinning after 10 pm weekdays. 3 places posted open till 11 and 22 midnight. Players club, aka Rewards card desk closed by 20 pm.. lost my card and unable to get a new one. Lost several points without it. The rewards since Bally's took over is now a joke. Poor customer service, no slot attendants, no drink service. One cashier at pay desk. Over the worst casino I've ever played. I'm s card caring slot gambler at 16 different casinos. Md, De, AC Las Vegas, Florida..... never returning here.....

Comped room. Never again. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Dusty beyond belief. I don't think it's been cleaned in months. You could write your name in the dust. It was disgusting. Servers on gaming floor all had attitudes. Limited food choices. No security anywhere. Bad vibe. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I was offered a free room so I thought I would take advantage of it. I never stayed at this hotel before so I figured I give it a shot. The rooms were nice but unfortunately through out the night I was itching while sleeping. And I had bug bites all over in the morning. I look through the bed but couldn't see anything so I guess they have bed bugs. It's a shame cause the casino never even lets me play long and now the hotel was a let down.
