This was my very first time visiting a Jersey Mike’s, and I walked into the Dover, DE location not knowing what to expect or even where to go. The moment I stepped in, all four staff members went above and beyond to make sure I received the best service possible.

Right away, they welcomed me with smiles and playful energy. I was jokingly told I had to choose which of the four should make my sandwich. Nicollette proudly claimed she was ranked 5th in the company, so she was clearly the top pick. Zayir, Vaughn, and Jacob jumped in with fun banter, all claiming to be the best sandwich makers around. When asked who I wanted to make my sub, I said, “Well, I’ve got to stick with the lady, girl code!”

Let me tell you this team didn’t just offer great customer service; they made me feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. And that sandwich? Absolutely off-the-hook AMAZING.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Fred, who was just as awesome and clearly leads a fantastic team.

If you’re in Dover, Delaware, and want a fresh, delicious sandwich with a side of laughter and great vibes Jersey Mike’s is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

when I order from Jersey Mike's, I order a regular cheesesteak on wheat bread, x meat, x cheese, light fried onions, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, and dill pickles. On Friday 8/8/2025 I called in my order and had them read it back to me. When I got there the worker was preparing it. I thought that I saw peppers on my sub. when I asked he told me no, when I got home and unwrapped it, the sub had green and red peppers on it that I told them that I did not want.This is the second time that I had to go through this with the Dover branch. The first time I caught it and had them remake it. On 8/9/2025 I will be returning the sub to either get my money back or have my sub remade. I could see if it was a mistake, but I get the same thing every time I go there. This is poor service! They should hire people who care about what the customer orders and not what the employee want to put on the order. Please address this issue because I am a paying customer and deserves proper service. I have pictures.

GREAT FOOD! The food is so good that, Jersey Mike's gets packed full of customers and doesn't seem to be able to catch up to speed. If you want a GREAT sub, plan on being there for 15 minutes or order on the app!

I ordered a sub yesterday from here @ the Dover, DE store. I’ve been coming here for 2 yrs. The food is great. The service not so much. The Manager Fred was there but, didn’t come to the phone to help. What happened to the Customer 1st.? They over charged me for the sub b/c the young lady working there didn’t know the charge is different btwn., Extra Meat & Double Meat!!!!
