La Baguette French Bakery

Luckily, I live close to this amazing bakery. The cruffins are amazing, and the flavors change daily. The apple tarts, muffins, croissants... everything is fabulous. The breads are my favorite, though. The buckwheat loaf is my favorite.

I moved to the area and have been going here typically one a week. Food is amazing. As I was paying, a person behind the counter, said”Oh, two bags today!” Not to me but a comment. There was only me and a gentleman in the store as customers. Yes I had two bags. This was surreal. Yes I am not small, but really. I have always been friendly there. Once I got home, I called to briefly share my experience. The person who answered the phone was apologetic. I appreciate that. The lady who rang me up was nice. But I do not need that in my life. People should be kind. You never know what someone is going through. I will not be back.

I waited one year for these cinnamon rolls that is i can only get when we come in town I wished they shipped it's a must have 500 miles and once a year is a long time to wait 🤣🤣

Got the hot pastrami sandwich and the pork freind the food was so good and the workers where all so sweet the sandwiche bat closes at 2 but they still accommodated us i give this place a 5 stars I definitely recommend coming here

Really great customer service and lovely staff. I do admit I came in a little late right before their sandwich station closed for the evening but they still got more order in and my grandma loved it. The pastrami on rye; had amazing flavor and was worth the price. I was given a free cookie for my wait time but honestly I didn’t even wait that long but I still appreciated it.

Service was great. Awesome! Staff and very helpful. Love the Cruffins cinnamon raisin delicious. Spinach quiche, cheese baguette and thank you for the extra items.

Traveling in Dover. Upon the advice of the host of the AirBnB I’m visiting, I stopped I at LaBaguette French Bakery.
I purchased the breakfast Crepeorita ( crepe filled with bacon, egg and cheddar, almond croissant and a new sour dough loaf.
Crepe made to order. Awesome and large, piping hot. Crepe not sweet, done perfectly golden
Croissant again was large! Very tasty. It will be dessert for 2.
New bread can’t say it spell it. Sour dough base smaller loaf, only $3.95. Wouldn’t have gone for it but the woman that waited on me had a sample! Way to go!
Staff very friendly. While I was here many people coming and going.
Ate outside in the “patio”. One table inside.
A definite add to the books. I’ll be back

I have been back to this bakery about 4 times in the last 2 months hoping for a different experience. The pastries look so good but everytime I have been in I feel like a complete inconvenience to the employees. I get you can have a bad day but everytime? I have tried engaging with the employees just asking them about their day and being pleasant and the response has been the same.
