We went to Longhorn for the first time last weekend. The service was great, the restaurant was nicely decorated, booths were nice and private. The standout was definitely the food. We keep trying to give this place a chance with the same result, except this time it was even worse. We received our bread, and appetizers with no utensils or napkins for at least 5 minutes. We were starving so we ate with our hands, well at least the side of the bread that wasn’t smashed. My steak was well done when I requested medium. I know I was asked to cut into but I don’t send food back.Oh and I forgot the constant bombardment of gnats.
We did carry out..waited over 45 minutes for our dinner. Got it & it was still lukewarm. But I will say that I've been eating at longhorn since my 20s the Salad i got had to be one of the biggest salads I've had in carryout from them. It was good, & they listened & didn't put my chicken on top which Wilts the lettuce & makes everything soggy. If, Im in Delaware again I would go back for sure
