McGlynns Pub - Dover Reviews
Terrible service. Visiting from out of town, waiter said it was his last day. Therefore, apparently he didn’t care. He didn’t even bother to put in the food order. Paid the drink and left. Will not be returning.
After 5 years of horrible experience after horrible experience, decided to give them a try and just grab a sandwich. what a mistake. Roast beef sandwich came out LITERALLY (and trust me I know how to properly use the word, and I'll post a pic) RAW. Sent it back and told them to keep it, it was disgusting. Total incompetence, I have no idea how that could be served and meat that raw be placed onto a roll. They're going to get someone sick! NEVER AGAIN!
Staff is not diverse which describes interaction deficits and restaurant does not provide appropriate temperature related take out orders. My soup melted the cheap plastic container …. Not to mention the pasta.. same.

McGlynns Pub is a restaurant with a great location and atmosphere, especially during the day when the lake view is stunning. It is a popular spot for drinks and offers a slightly classier pub atmosphere than expected. The service is generally good, with friendly and attentive bartenders and waitstaff who create a welcoming environment. Many customers enjoy the tasty food, with some dishes like the Crab dip and Ruben sandwich being particularly delicious. The bar area is a favorite for those looking for a good drink and friendly company. The restaurant is also recommended for newcomers to the area. However, some experiences with food and service have been mixed. There have been issues like incorrect orders, such as French onion soup with bread when none was requested, and a stuffed burger that wasn’t properly stuffed and broke apart. Despite these occasional problems, the inside is very cute, and the outside offers a great water view. Overall, McGlynns Pub is a good place to relax and enjoy a drink, but some dishes and service aspects could use improvement.
