Now that I've spent a year in Dover, I now understand why this institution keeps bringing in good business. The bartenders are some of the nicest people I've had the good fortune of meeting. Their food selections are wonderful - their football Sunday specials were everything I wanted in a Sunday Sunday. I havnt been there when its been insanely busy, but the servers, bartenders and kitchen work well together to ensure everything comes to you in a timely manner.

Terrible service. Visiting from out of town, waiter said it was his last day. Therefore, apparently he didn’t care. He didn’t even bother to put in the food order. Paid the drink and left. Will not be returning.

We had the best dinner and service. Sophia was exceptional, she provided excellent recommendations, answered our questions, managed substitutions, and checked in at the correct frequency. We loved the mozzarella, enjoyed variety of salads (I absolutely loved the apple walnut salad), salmon, crab cakes, French onion soup, etc. All the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
We had a lovely experience thanks to Sophia! She was an amazing server. She was attentive, quick, kind, and made our dinner experience special. She also gave great recommendations for dinner choices that were all delicious.

Just ate here for the first time and I'm so disappointed. Fish and fries was horrible. I spit out the cod because it didn't taste right or look right maybe fake food the way the fish way layered. The shrimp also was tough like they just heated up cocktail shrimp and threw seasoning on it. Very pricey place for fake nasty food. Disappointed.

This pub gets everything right: classic ambience, cheerful/fast service, great draft/bottled beer selections, and great burgers. We ate a Smash Burger (2 big patties make it way more than a quarter pounder), a Philly Burger (ask for extra napkins), and Taylor’s Grog (a delicious, proprietary Pale Ale). Loved it and will return when in the area again. TIP: parking can be tricky - suggest arriving for dinner early (we arrived at 5PM and that worked).
