Piazza Mia Italian Bar & Grill

My wife and had dinner at Piazza Mia and really enjoyed it. While the food was neither the best or most authentic Italian we have had it was quite tasty and an excellent value for what we paid. Their wine selection had nothing that was high-end, but contained several things from Italian producers which is always fun when eating Italian. The service was excellent. We will absolutely go back.

Kaitlyn was a very good server - attentive and polite. Food was outstanding as always and it is a nice intimate setting, especially the corner booths. Tiramisu Gelato was phenomenal!

The server was very courteous and pleasant. The food was very good. The atmosphere was very pleasant and enjoyable. The food is a little pricey but the portions are good.

We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely ambience and friendly service we received. The food was outstanding well preparing and presented. We will be back to visit again in the near future.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had a new special, which was red snapper over mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back to this restaurant.

The experience here was just okay. There was nothing overly negative that happened but there also wasn't anything that was spectacular. My husband and I went there for my birthday. When I made the reservation on open table I checked the box for celebrating a birthday and there was no acknowledgment by any of the staff. This isn't a deal breaker but it does show a lack of attention to detail. The food was fine. I ordered the chicken parm and my husband got their version of the Tour of Italy, which had lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, and a chicken parm cutlet. For both of us, the cutlets on the chicken parm were well fried and very crispy. That was definitely the highlight of the meal. The pasta that came with my dish was overcooked. My husband said the fettuccine he had was good but the lasagna was greasy and the pasta was undercooked. The service was fine, though it felt a bit rushed at the end. The only hiccup was they brought me the wrong drink but it was corrected.

Piazza Mia always provides a warm,cozy atmosphere that welcomes you from the moment you walk in. You are greeted with a smile. Once seated, they share the best part, the homemade bread accompanied by garlic and oil. Every dish we have ordered from Piazza Mia was made with love and perfection. We have had many occasions with Piazza Mia including date nights, family gatherings, and after church lunches. We have always had top notch service and hospitality. Our kids enjoy the spaghetti that includes gelato afterwards. We enjoy the pasta, pizza, and soups especially. We love this place and you won't be disappointed!

Our chicken parm dinner was exceptional tonight. Two huge pieces of chicken and the sauce was so yummy.

I really enjoy eating at Piazza Mia. The food proportion was really good not too much not too little. Service was top-tier. Our server, Zach was really good funny, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. I would say, I thought the menu was a little bit pricey for two people. My husband and I had, an appetizer three drinks two entrees the bill came to $101. Not extremely bad but I thought for two people it was a little bit on the higher side. But the food nonetheless was really good. I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the honey salmon with mixed vegetables. The entrées were really fresh. They were piping hot and darn good. I had a pomegranate Margarita and my husband had the mango margarita I must say the bartender did not skimp at all on the alcohol worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fulfilling meal, followed by a lot of spirits. Also there is a charge for using your debit or credit card not a big fan of paying a fee when I’m using my debit credit card but nonetheless, I do understand that merchants are charged a fee for using credit card machines so I get it.

A group of friends went out to celebrate finishing a bike ride in Dover. The food and wine was excellent. Our server Esther was friendly and very accommodating.

Always my 'Go To' place for Veal Parm ? Consistently excellent!

Parking: We had a party of 12. Our waitress was amazing. She was friendly and was very attentive. Food was great. We're new to Delaware and been looking for a good Italian restaurant here in Delaware and this one is definitely the best by far.
