I am very happy with everything. I would give 5 stars on all aspects. Seating and accommodations were quiet and clean, service was exceptional, food was delicious. Food of course needs more, it was fresh, crab was crackable by hand means that it has not sat in a steam pot all day. It was fresh and tasty. Fried shrimp and scallops had fresh flavor that needed no dipping in sauce of any kind. Well worth a stop.
Best seafood in Dover!! Staff was very polite and friendly. Will defiantly be back again. The fried shrimp and calamari was amazing!
It feels like you stepped back into 1982. Everything about it is tired. The servers move like they’re exhausted and don’t care. The food is below mediocre. This place has been around forever and it shows. People go here Only because they been going here for 20 years. There are WAY better places in Dover. There is never a manager around, and the staff just kind of runs the place in auto pilot. My suggestion: Pass. I truly truly do not know how they are still in business.
We arrive at 6pm on a Saturday night. The hostess said there would be a wait because she and the bartender were the only staff for the remainder of the evening. The manager was not on-site. No clarity about being informed. No sense of urgency about getting enough staff on-site. She was looking forward to making all of the tips. Our party of 8 decided to not endure the dining experience and left for another restaurant. We're never going back.
Went there after a few years because of a bad experience we decided to try again. Not enough people working took forever to get our tasteless food. 65.00 wasted oh well NEVER AGAIN
Great place. Lobster was off the charts! Our waitress Jasmine was wonderful. One of my favorite restaurants.
Excellent seafood. The service was great. The restaurant was clean. The decor needs to be updated. Our waitress Jasmine was attentive and thorough.
They have cut back their hours but their food is great and their prices are reasonable. There was a nice crowd in the dining area and at the bar, quick seating and service
I am originally from Dover so Shuckers Pier is a local favorite. The price and portions are reasonable. The taste was excellent. 3 people ate for under $40. The hamburger meal was a happy hour menu special. Not sure why there was a little wait to be seated when there was plenty of empty tables. Maybe cause only had small staff. We solved that issue by going to the bar side and sat in a booth.
Very tasty, properly cooked seafood. Everything fresh, great timing by the server, no waiting for a table. The facility was clean and there was plenty of parking.

Asked the locals for.a.recommendation and.it paid off. Nice place, a little.dated, but great food and service. Quality and quantity were good. Dessert is HUGE!
I don't even know why I gave 2 stars....i think for the memory of what it used to be. Terrible experience all the way around. Slow ridiculous service. Food gross cold and rubbery. The hush puppies were good☺
They were out of everything today, but I will still return because of price, taste, and freshness!
Friendly staff. Good food. Fair Happy Hour. Good place to stop and get a drink and food after work.
Food was good specifically the crab soup. But the waitress actually brought me lime and lemon in her hands and gave it to me to put in my drink. I didn't feel comfortable using it.
