I guess we go for the Sugar Factory notariety but some of the prices are quite high. However, the eggs Benedict with salmon and asparagus was wonderful and worth the price.
Great service, delicious food and drinks! Would definitely return when back in the area

Wonderful service, wonderful food, wonderful staff, wonderful atmosphere. Me and my family truly enjoyed ourselves. There was something for everyone; for kids as young as 8 to adults as old as 80. I highly recommend going to this restaurant. It was worth every penny.
My husband and I were there for breakfast and the chicken and waffles were great . Our waiter was nice friendly and we really enjoyed our first time in dover
Terrible Experience. Made reservations when entering we had to agree that we had a party of six and gratuity of 20 percent would be automatically applied before we were allowed to be seated. Place was empty felt dingy and dirty. Service was incredibly slow over an hour to get our meal in an empty restaurant only to get served undercooked burgers with wilted lettuce. Asked to order our desserts when food came since there was such a delay and was told sure but waitress disappeared. Finally once ordered took another fourty minutes for dessert again in an empty restaurant and it was gross. Online menu does not match restaurants either.
first was waiting 30 minutes just for a plain Caesar salad and then of course five minutes later my entrée came. The salmon was overdone and service was absolutely awful. An hour and 20 minutes for a salad and salmon. and of course cause my hot entree Came five minutes after my salad I could barely eat my salad. All of this for $50. Poor service and overpriced.
bThe Manager here thinks she is more important than the customer. We came in with a coupon which she refused to honor, and she was not interested in making any accommodations for us. We had driven 3 hours to stay the weekend at Dover Bally's and cancelled dinner reservation to take advantage of the offer and enjoy our evening. She made the restaurant experience very negative. She had no intention of making the problem right. We are not people that are always looking for freebees or handouts, but her pompous attitude showed her immaturity. We won't be ack. Maybe she is the reason hardly anyone was there on a Friday night.
Definitely NOT worth the hype. Loud, sloppy looking, smaller than one would think and OVERPRICED for mediocre food. So disappointing as we were looking forward to an “experience “ that did not measure up to the Sugar Factory’s ego. Our server was nice and engaging but overworked with her share of diners. We spent 2 1/2 hours there for 1 drink and sandwiches.

I was there with my wife and my son couple of weeks ago for the first time and I loved their seasame salad. My wife and my son had burgers and they loved it.
We had decided to go back and continue. We actually also decided to celebrate our son’s birthday in that restaurant in July.
Went back last night with my wife, she had ordered the “Pan roasted Salmon Salad “ and I had the same “Ginger Seasame Chicken Salad “ which I had the last time.
I have developed abdominal cramps with diarrhea this afternoon and have already gone to the bathroom at least 8 times, and I feel like I have to go now again.
I am gonna call out to see my doctor tomorrow if this continues or might have to go to the emergency if it gets severe.
Very disappointed.
On 3/8/25 we attended a dinner with sugar factory, we was seated in the beautiful corner seat where the glass guard above us in front of the beautiful sign was extremely dusty and has smeared finger marks on it, out waiter was from turkey, she didn't have a good understanding tonight, at no point did she ask anyone at the table if we wanted anything to drink, we was brought small cups of water, before we could place our order 3 back to back birthday announcements were done with music extremely loud music my autistic child put his hands over his ears, fussed n told us he wanted to leave n that it was insufferable to deal with, mind you my child is 5yrs old. Our waiter finally took our order we asked her if she knew of any bday coming up to let us know so we could properly address my child and prepare him better and no sooner I finish my statement they sound off a loud ,music song n dance yet again, my son melted down. Our waiter took the order, brought out and served a raw hamburger to a table member, we sent the plate back and this time it came back way over cooked. We chased down 2 bars for a twisted ice tea, more then 4 bar tenders did not serve him as he waited. Our meal was $92 for 2 classic burgers, 1 kids rainbow sliders, and fries.overall not a good experience and really not impressed at all
Kid-friendliness: Fun milkshakes that are $20 or more, playful music but extremely loud especially during birthdays

It is always a good time at Sugar factory. The food is always good quality and we enjoy the atmosphere, as they do a wonderful job celebrating birthdays, etc. The wait staff at the Sugar factory in Dover Downs, in Dover, Delaware are a wonderful team.
Our first dining experience at Sugar Factory and found a varied and very tasty selection on the luncheon menu. Waitress was so kind and professional. Was disappointed we couldn't choose from a dinner menu; however, missed dinner reservation by 1 hour. Will definitely return for dinner in the near future. Thank you Bally's.
We had great service. April was our waitress and she is the best. She is always friendly and very attentive. She is the reason we eat there. We had gotten bad service before and tried one more time and April changed our opinion of the Sugar Factory for the better.
Sugar is overrated. Waited to long to be seated prices for drinks are way overpriced and of course half of it l can’t eat or drink because it’s not gluten free. Waiter was pretty good though
First time dining at this restaurant. The food was good and not overly expensive as you might expect being located in a hotel. Staff was wonderful and added to the great atmosphere.
