I recently organized a dinner for our lacrosse team at The Green Turtle in Dover, Delaware, involving 25 families with siblings, and the experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks to our servers, Tessa and Nicki. Despite the complexity of managing such a large group, they orchestrated the evening flawlessly.What stood out was their method of organizing payments by using the kids’ uniform numbers, a clever solution that kept everything streamlined. Even when faced with the inevitable mix-ups, Tessa and Nicki addressed them with remarkable class and efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption to our evening.Their attentiveness extended to our drinks, which were promptly replenished without long waits, contributing to an overall fantastic dining experience. It was evident that Tessa and Nicki’s professionalism and dedication were key to making our team dinner a success. Their exceptional service deserves recognition, and it’s the reason I felt compelled to share our experience. Never thought I'd see the day a sports bar couldn't do a burger. Uneventful, frozen, flavorless. But that's the least of your concerns, this is the filthiest restaurant I have ever had the displeasure to dine at. Kids face prints in the windows, table encrusted with what I hope was dry rice chunks, we could tell when the waiter was approaching as the floor was movie theater sticky, and the bathroom door was absolutely laminated with months of filthy hand prints. I could make out finger prints made of BBQ sauce on this door. Never again.

First time going to this restaurant and was was less than impressed. Already had my reservations but decided to try it out anyway. Service was ok but waitress seemed new. The food was just awful. I tried the artichoke dip, Philly cheesesteak, and the crab sandwich. The food looked like it was microwaved. I couldn’t believe I paid for this food. Surprised by the amount of good reviews but a hard pass for me.

This was my first time but it won't be my last. The experience was very nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I happy to know it's a nice place nearby. The cost was also reasonable.Vegetarian options: I didn't have it but my friend did. She was very pleased.

Today, we had two of the most energetic, patient and awesome servers. Hailey J and the other young lady served us in the private room for 4 hrs. These 2 young ladies are assets to this location and could teach servers of any age the quality of customer service. Thank You from the Heart.

Our server Bianca was amazing she told us she had just started there and I had assumed she had been their for years very attentive and knew the menu well she waited on us while dealing with a large table and multiple others and didn't miss a beat. Watching her even help other waiters/ waitresses. Very clean environment and nice workers. I am from middletown but will definitely return to the Dover location.
Was there with my sister for dinner tonight and our waitress Bianca was great we both left knowing we needed to write a review for her such a sweet personable young lady. Held great communication and conversation and going that extra mile even while she was busy. Would 100% recommend the green turtle and ask for Bianca !! We will be bac.
I used to be a regular at the bar, and the new management has pushed out many of their employees, which made it worthwhile going to the bar. Alexis, Samantha, Nikki, Laura, Natalie, Katie, Ashley and Noah always made the bar feel like family and it is sad to see the vibe and atmosphere change with many of them no longer being emplyed there. There are many other people that were regulars that used to frequent the place no longer go there anymore as well.
