Terrific! My little family loved the food and the space! I accidentally spilled hot sauce off the table and the waitress was very kind. Food was fresh, and very well made. I would order everyday if I could! And the bread pudding was delicious!

This place has always been pocket aces when coming down to the eastern shore. Just went back for the first time in a long time — I tell you what. Grits w/ cheese are fresh to order for every meal, omelettes are packed with fillings that're easily 3-4 eggs and the scrapple is thicc and hard fried.
All of the tables are stocked w the standard diner fare, and also hand sanitizer bottles. Clean is the name of the game here. Don't miss the opportunity dudes!

I and another patron walked in at the same time. The confused waitress eventually got us seated at separate tables. I was given a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered iced water with lemon which was promptly served. The waitress then went on about her other duties. Why my food order was not taken at that time is a mystery to me. The patron who walked in not 10 seconds before me not only placed his order but was served his order. And there I sat, me and my glass of water. A few minutes later a party of 4 came in and were promptly seated, their drinks and food orders taken . . . and there I sat, unserved. Enough being enough, I got up and went to the restroom hoping that seeing me would perhaps jog the waitress's memory that she had forgotten me. Alas, to no avail. I then promptly collected myself, tossed a dollar on the table, and left. Their extensive menu shocked.me and I, being quite hungry, was prepared to order their Jumbo Seafood Platter. Hmmmph. Their loss. I cannot rate their food for I was not given a chance to order any. The dining area was small but clean. However, the service I received (or more accurately, did not receive) was as substandard as I have ever encountered.
The food was really good. The cashier was nice. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the waitress bumped into me twice while I was waiting on the cashier. I know my butt is big, but she didn't even say excuse. I was pretty p. Other than that the food was pretty good!

We were hungry heading north from VA, and my wife found this place on Google map which has a high rating. And it's location is not far from our route. The inside of this establishment is nice, but needs a bit of updating since seat cushions were worn from use, and the decor was nice but could also benefit with some updating. As for our meals, we totally enjoyed everything. Prior to receiving our plates, they gave us some very delicious freshly baked bread. We both loved this warm start. I ordered their cheeses teak. It was very delicious, tasty, well put together and very filling. They use a different cheese from other cheeses tears and the meat flavor and texture was very good. My wife said meal was just as good. We were both full when we left. Our hostess was great. She was attentive and friendly and worth the tip we gave. This establishment does not provide a receipt after you pay, if you want one. BTW, we noticed that this location was the object of television chef Robert Irvines restaurant remodel several years ago.

Ordered the southern grill cheesesteak. It’s suppose to come with mushrooms, hot and sweet peppers and pickles. The cheesesteak came with none of the advertised items. Nowhere in the description did it say the cook adds lots of mayonnaise and ketchup, nor did I order mayo or ketchup. Yet my cheesesteak was covered in both. Worst cheesesteak in Delaware. Go elsewhere
